Looooove it ♡ Easy to hold while painting out and about, which is what this is for. That's what the thumb hole is for in the palette. I advice when it first arrive, before anything else is done with it, to go grab something lightly abrasive, like some good ol' toothpaste, to scour the enamel in the areas where you'll be doing your paint mixing (the larger areas in the middle parts) this way, your paints (watercolors usually for me and others I'd imagine) will not gather up into little spots here and there and instead of wanting to stay stuck in the bristles of your brush and not your palette. It will give the paint something to grab onto so to say, pulling it out of your brush and onto your pallet. This makes it so much easier to do your mixing of colors. Plus its easy! Just be gentle with the abrasive and don't use sandpaper that's going to chew right through your white enameled palette in no time. Eventually you will scour away through the enamel and will need a new pallet. But this would take a VERY long time and you'd have to be going mad with the toothpaste very often to achive that kind of hasty result! Best of luck, hope these tips helped! Noticed the metal seams "broke" and now watercolor/water goes under the pans, and it destroyed the tips of 3 expensive brushes. Too late for me to return.

The seams where the edge of the pan reaches the mixing area separated so water gets underneath the pans, also I ruined one of my favorite brushes mixing there, snagged and cut the hairs, it was how I noticed the seam separated. This would be an awesome palette if that had not happened. Now it has paint in it and I cannot send it back. I tried using a glue gun to seal the seam... we will see how that goes, however you should not need to do that with a product that is a week old. Sad. I forgot to take pictures before i cleaned and glue gunned the area, so the pic is of after I had to use the glue. UPDATE: They quickly took care of the issue. Great customer service. Thank you

Cette palette est vraiment de très bonne qualité, ultra légère avec de très grands espaces pour faire les mélanges, 30 compartiments pour les couleurs. Super bon service du vendeur, ce sera ma palette définitive, je recommande cette palette à tout les aquarellistes.

The item arrived well packaged and slightly earlier than expected. It has a few minor dents here and there, which seems from manufacturing rather than the shipment (hence the 4 stars). But no big deal. The waiting was long, I have to admit. It needs some treatment before usage to prevent beading. I used a combination of methods that I found on Youtube. Overall, I'm pleased with this product.
