Great Concept, helpful gadget for the caffeine addicts when your camping
Overdue review for the Barista Manual Coffee Grinder but here goes.Firstly, was pleasantly refreshing they are very responsive to questions or concerns and will immediately respond and make good on issues within their control. As for the grinder itself here's my take so far:Good...different grinds are true to texture per the recommended "grind settings." And about the grinder settings, in order to stay true for portability this is a caveman as it gets, you manually tweak the "adjuster knob" on the hopper with a turn(s) as perscribed in the online manual for your desired grind. They claim you will hear/feel a click for the different increments, but neither is pronounced and your sort of experience very subtle pauses for each setting increment. I've so far just experimented with a fine grind for expresso or Aeropress...true to texture, no lumps, even grind, powdery smooth. Will report anything further experimentations with other grinds when I get around to it.So, so...realistically impractical if your time crunched (as most of us are) for that quick cuppa. This should be used on a relaxing weekend or glamping as it was intended for. Also, you'll get a bit of workout while grinding especially on the more fine grinds (ie espresso). I had to continually check the hopper and grind chamber to make sure all the beans were ground. In summary...they include a brush for cleaning, however it's a bit impractical for a daily sweep out of the excess ground "dust" left behind because of the way it's designed and the hard bristles. No matter how muchI brushed, there was still coffee dust in lodged at the bottom of the grind chamber. I had to do a quick rinse and left to air dry to fully clean it.These folks have a great idea and product that needs a little tweaking to make it a 5* review.

For camping i can see it being great as the thing is very sturdy and
The people complaining about not being able to figure out how it goes together are morons but the problem with this product is that it is difficult to grind with, you are constantly taking off the top to push down the beans and adding beans into a small round opening is either painstakingly slow or involves picking up dropped beans. I wanted a manual grinder to add to the ritual of making coffee but this is a bit off the mark. For camping i can see it being great as the thing is very sturdy and slim

Great Coffee Grinder!
This is the first time I have purchased a manual coffee grinder. It appears to be durable and easy to clean. It arrived on time and in excellent condition. This will be great to use when I do not have access to an electric coffee grinder, e.g. when camping.

Pretty sweet and simple coffee grinder
Pretty sweet and simple coffee grinder. You can take the whole thing apart and clean with an included brush. The grind coarseness is fine-tunable and runs from 'espresso-fine' to 'french press chunky'. This is definitely light enough for my long distance bicycle tour over the summer! Thats all folks!
