combo of physical and chemical block sunscreen ingredients, lightweight, made in Korea
This TROIAREUKE Intense UV Protector sunscreen cream is rated SPF 50+ and PA+++, so it's broad spectrum protection. It uses a mix of many chemical sunscreen ingredients and one physical/mineral filter. The chemical filters include both old and new generation UV filters: Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (aka octinoxate), Ethyl salicylate (aka octisalate), phenylbenzimidazole sulfonic acid (aka ensulizole), octocrylene, and Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol (better known as Tinosorb M or Bisoctrizole), and Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine (better known as Parsol Shield, Tinosorb S, or Escalol S).The sole mineral filter is titanium dioxide. It's lightweight, applies smoothly and doesn't feel greasy. The finish is dewy rather than matte. There is little to no white cast from the titanium dioxide. Besides the sunscreen ingredients, the cream also contains niacinamide for brightening, sodium hyaluronate for moisture retention, and peptides for strengthening the skin barrier. It does not contain essential oils or drying alcohol. Near the end of the ingredients list, it has three plant-derived extracts that make up the popular Korean preservative called EURO-NApre.On the potential drawback side, it has fragrance, which can be irritating for those with sensitive skin. Also, the ingredients contain shea butter, silicones and fatty alcohols, which can potentially occlude pores and then worsen or even trigger breakouts in acne-prone.The tube has a foil seal under the cap, and the expiration date is clearly marked on the tube and outer box, and it's more than 2 years out. It's made in Korea. The ingredients are listed in both English and Korean on the outer box, but not on the tube. The ingredients are:Water, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Propanediol, Panthenol, Niacinamide, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid, Octocrylene, C14-22 Alcohols, 1,2-Hexanediol, Titanium Dioxide, Tromethamine, Hydrogenated C6-14 Olefin Polymers, Cetearyl Acohol, Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutyphenol, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Polyethylene, Dimethicone, C12-20 Alkyl Glucoside, PEG-100 Stearate, Cyclopentasiloxane, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Stearic Acid, Cyclohexasiloxane, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Aluminum Hydroxide, Decyl Glucoside, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, Propylene Glycol, Opuntia Ficus-India Callus Culture Extract, Nelumbo Nucifera Callus Culture Extract, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Callus Culture Extract, Camellia Sinensis Callus Culture Extract, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Lecithin, Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract, Usnea Barbata (Lichen) Extract, Pulsatilla Koreana Extract, rh-Polypeptide-1, rh-Oligopeptide-1, Copper Tripeptide-1, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Fragrance

Disappointed
Unfortunately I was not a big fan of this. It left my face sticky and tight. Without fail it also stung my eyes. Even without moisturizer it continued to feel that way. I wanted to like this product, but sadly it's not for my combination skin.

Doesn’t list sunscreen ingredients as active ingredients so unknown percentages used
I usually only go mineral/physical sunscreens. I like mineral/physical sunscreens because they don’t penetrate the skin, they just sit on the skin. I don’t like using chemical sunscreens because the ingredients used penetrate the skin and are known to cause some pretty bad things in our bodies. There are 8 common sunscreen ingredients used - 2 of them are zinc oxide and titanium dioxide - the other 6 are the ones used in chemical sunscreens. The FDA has only stated that zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are safe Sunscreen ingredients. As for the other ingredients used in chemical sunscreen products, the FDA says there isn’t enough info to state they are safe and effective. That doesn’t mean the 6 common ingredients used in chemical sunscreens aren’t approved by the FDA for use in sunscreens. They are, but the FDA only states that for certain zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are safe and effective.I saw this was a mix of chemical and physical sunscreen, so figured it might be worth a try.Whenever I get a product claiming to be a sunscreen, it usually states the sunscreen ingredients as “active ingredients” and gives the specific percentage for each. An active is something that contains an active ingredient. Sometimes you’ll look in the bottle of a product and it says “active ingredient,” and lists 1 or more ingredients, then below that you’ll see “inactive ingredients.” An active ingredient is the chemical or molecule in a product that does what the product says it’s supposed to do (like a cleanser that claims to treat acne has salicylic acid as an active ingredient). They are considered actives because they have been proven to change the skin in some way. There is data behind it and claims about it’s effectiveness are regulated by the FDA. What determines whether it’s listed as an active or just a regular ingredient? It is often the way a product is marketed - including its intended use, what the consumer perceived it to do, and what the packaging claims it will do - that determines which category the FDA puts it in.This is made in Korea, but being sold in the US I would think it has to abide by those standards, but I’m not sure. Most of the info on the box isn’t in English, but they do have a small part on the bottom where the ingredients are listed in English, but they don’t list “active ingredients,” and so don’t have the percentages of the sunscreen ingredients they use.The chemical sunscreens have certain levels that are considered safer than other levels. Since I was deciding to give a sunscreen with chemical sunscreen ingredients in it, I wanted to go by those percentages. But, not knowing the percentages used, I didn’t feel comfortable using this.I did apply some to my hands to see how well it applied, how quickly it seemed to absorb, etc. so I could at least give some info about that. Since I always use physical sunscreens, anyone who has used them or uses them knows they can sometimes be a pain to rub in and can give a white cast. This one rubbed in easily and didn’t leave a white cast. However, it felt really sticky. It didn’t seem to set, even after a few minutes. From that, I knew I wouldn’t have liked it much anyways. I hate when products have a sticky feeling that won’t go away.Overall, I can’t say whether or not I recommend this. I can say it doesn’t list the sunscreen ingredients as active ingredients, so it doesn’t list the percentage of each one. If you’re comfortable using chemical sunscreen and don’t mind the sticky feeling this leaves, you might like this. Since I didn’t use this other than on my hands for a few minutes, I’m just giving it 3 stars.

I like it
I took this picture about 30 minutes after application. I used essence, vitamin c serum, and a lightweight gel moisturizer under this sunscreen. The sunscreen gives you a nice glow and my skin reacted well to it. The scent isn’t overwhelming and it has good spreadability. Once it dries it feels very lightweight. I’d recommend giving it a try.
