A little weak but overall a good blend.
As a natural physician I’m always trying to find products to help my patients. This product has a great blend but it’s a little weak. May have to take more than recommended.

Great Product
This is the first time I’ve been able to get sleep without waking up and not feeling groggy in the morning! I’ve tried every supplement including high doses of melatonin and prescription (don’t like drugs) and nothing ever worked as perfectly as this! The very first night I was able to get a good nights sleep!

Bad product or maybe mistaken
I disliked this product (sleeping support). When I took I felt like something else, I couldn't sleep and kept me awake all night. This is really bad for me to experience that's way.

Melatonin + Theanine + GABA + Chamomile +... sleep aids. A bit pricey.
Melatonin works great for me. I don't normally have sleep problems, but if I want to get sleep early (because I need to get up early), then I can take melatonin, and in about 20 minutes, I'm ready to sleep. Works like a charm, and it's non-habit forming with few (if any) side effects for me.You can get both melatonin in pills by itself and as a mixture with other stuff believed to aid in falling asleep. I find some of these mixtures to be good, although some of them don't seem to do much more than the melatonin itself. These contain theanine, which I do find to be useful for extending the effects of the pills, as well as GABA, Chamomile, Valerian root, etc. It's a smorgasbord of stuff that has been suggested to be useful for relaxation/sleep in different studies. Whether any/all of it works for you will be something you need to find out for yourself. In my case, I did find myself sleeping soundly after taking these for about 7+ hours. Plain melatonin is usually good for 5 hours for me. Now, that's based on one use so it could be anecdotal. But I have taken other supplements with Theanine and Gaba and found that they generally can keep me asleep longer. The container has 60 capsules, and the recommended dosage is two capsules. There's only 2mg of melatonin in 2 capsules (1mg/capsule), so for many adults, you won't want to halve the dosage. There are, however, some people for whom only 1mg of melatonin works. So, again, it's a personal call. This isn't cheap. Taking the recommended dosage will cost you two dollars per dose. Generic melatonin tablets can be less than a dime each. You'll need to decide if the extra ingredients justify your added expense.

One night down
For quite a few years now I have been having an issue staying asleep. I can take some melatonin, knocks me out for a few hours. But somewhere between 1 and 4 I am awake again for an hour or two, tossing and turning, trying to get comfortable. Always seem to be able to get back to sleep, then feel horrible when my alarm goes off. This product worked well for me. Last night I didn't sleep through the night, but when I work up, I was able to get back to sleep in about 10-15 minutes, and felt better this morning. I has a bit of melatonin, which helps me fall to sleep, and then the right mix of other ingredients which, for me, seem to keep me asleep or at least help me fall back asleep when I wake up.This is one of several products available with a similar mix of ingredients, so I believe it you have trouble sleeping, finding the one that works with your body will help. For me, this particular mix seems to work well. The directions do seem wrong however. It suggests taking this with a meal, and at least 8 ounces of water. For me, melatonin kicks in about 20-30 minutes after taking it, so if I take it at the end of a 6:00 dinner, I will be ready for bed by 7:00. I did take this when I am getting ready for bed, and often will grab a slice of cheese, or something so it is not on an empty stomach. Have not had a problem when taken on an empty stomach, so maybe just an excuse to have a bit of cheese before bed.As with any medications, you should check with your doctor before you start taking them. I am not a doctor, and the way they work for me maybe different that your results.

Works well but not GMP manufactured or 3rd party tested
This is a heavy hitting sleep supplement that covers some of the most important ingredients for a good night of sleep. I always wish sleep supplements didn't contain melatonin because it can be added separately for those that want it but it is over used and builds up too much for most of us (which I won't bore you with but you can do your own research). Still, this worked well for sleep although I didn't notice any difference in my dreams or the "blissfulness" of my sleep, it did help me sleep better than without it.I will save this for occasional nights though because there are less expensive supplements that contain most of the same ingredients but are also GMP manufactured and 3rd party tested for quality which I feel better about taking on a daily basis. As for the directions to "take 20-30 minutes before a meal with 8 oz of water . . ." I'm pretty sure that this is copy left from directions for another supplement that they forgot to change for this sleep supplement. Those instructions sound like they would be for a digestive supplement or something similar to that. For most sleep supplements, especially those with melatonin, they are best taken around 30 (no more than 60) minutes before bed. Current research seems to indicate that eating a high fat snack before bed is ok but otherwise an empty stomach is good for most people.
