These seeds grow like stated but are not for aquarium full of water. It's best for terrarium. Everything died after a week of submerged in water spiking nitrate killing most fish. Seller should know this .

I loved the idea of growing the plants but they never did turn into a beautiful green leaf. They did sprout but after they sprouted alot of mold started also growing. I have other plants in my tank that easily does well. This one was more challenging...

This is just grass seed with a coating. The coating discolors your water eventually. We grew the seeds in an empty, dry aquarium to start the process. After the sprouts were almost 2 inches tall, we added water to start cycling the tank. Within a week, all the sprouts were dead. Our substrate was discolored around the areas that we had planted the seeds. Waste of money.

It was a waste of a few dollars, did not grow at all

These seeds were incredibly easy to grow initially. I assumed the plants would be a bit shorter and more lush, but they grew tall (about 2-3 inches) and without much individual volume. I followed the planting directions as indicated exactly and they survived for about two weeks. Then, in all of the tanks where I planted the seeds, the seedlings began dying off around the same time (within 3 days apart). The plants became translucent until they broke from the root. As a result of the sudden death of plant material, my tank parameters dramatically shifted, and my nitrite levels became a health risk for my fish. I believe I have everything under control now, but not a single seedling survived. I will not be planting the remainder of these seeds.

This was the 4th type of aquarium grass I tried from this seller. I had to follow instructions I found online for the different kinds of grass, nothing was included but a seed packet. I have germinated seeds multiple times a year for the past 20 years. This was my first complete failure to germinate. Some did sprout but all were dead within 2 weeks. Zero value for money. Small amount of seeds for the price. Would be willing to try again if seller would provide seeds for replacement but for the money spent on all 4 small bags, I would not recommend at this time.
