Used for labelling items due to Macular degeneration
I bought these to label items for my mum who has severe sight impairment due to macular degeneration. I was using white labels but after looking at the macular society website where you can sample different colours on various coloured backgrounds it seemed better to have black writing on bright yellow, it may be different for others as some find dark backgrounds with lighter writing easier. I use these for labelling food items in the fridge with expiry dates, labelling the contents of tinned food as mum can still use a ring pull with an aid and for labelling her medication lots which I prepare for her. I have to write in big letters so use a lot per label but there are a lot in the pack. I have also used some cut pieces left over from labelling medicine pots (as I cut them up to go further so just change the date) to go around the edges of freezer labels to highlight where the freezer label is on the item. The only thing I sometimes find is the market pens do not write smoothly on them not sure if it is the surface that makes it brighter but I manage fine and it's just a small issue that would not out me off using them.I would recommend them and will buy more when needed. Good quality and very bright.
I didn’t think there was much between these sort of labels but I am very pleasantly surprised at the quality of these. They are thicker, a lot more brighter/Hi Viz than others and a really great “stick” to them. Highly recommend.

Good for poor eyesight
Used to label mums food as she has macular degeneration and this colour is perfect as advised by a professional.

Can't write on silver ones
I purchased the silver ones and they are too glossy so I can't write on them: felt pen never dry, ballpoint pen don't work...
