I first read it four decades ago when I was a teen and was smitten. Taha Hussein wrote a memoir for the ages and I still cherish this book— one of my favorite of all time.

The book is an amazing read in Arabic... they sent me a post card and a book marker, it was a very nice touch. Thank you
