This is a luxurious soap that everyone would love to keep using. I love the feel of the lather and the amazing clean scent. I order this for my daughter, also. I clean my face, hands, and everything else with this high end quality product.

I think it smells great and just love using a bar soap again after swearing off shower gels and their wasteful packaging.

This is the first volcanic ash soap I've ever used and I have heard great things about these soaps in general. I chose this soap because it was a decent price and one of the first that I saw. As soon as I opened the box containing the soap I was overwhelmed by a VERY strong musky floral scent. To be blunt-it stinks unless you like old lady floral smells. I looked at the ingredients and it just lists "charcoal fragrance" as the fragrance. I would recommend that the company tone it down with the fragrance. Now, the soap itself: lathered up nicely, rinsed off easily and left my skin looking and feeling wonderful. I'm willing to suffer the floral headache for how great this soap has made my skin feel. Another thing I noticed was that after I used it a couple of times, I noticed little black specs. I could see these in the soap before but after a couple of uses I could actually feel them. They were actually kind of abrasive when rubbing the soap directly on my face. I just lather in my hands now so not a huge problem.

I have read some of the reviews and I understand why many women have an issue with the fragrance of the soap. I will say it leans more to the masculine scent, a little earthy and musky. What I appreciate about this soap is that is it mixes in course ash to give a soft exfoliant to help remove dead skin and dirt. It leaves the skin feeling soft and not coated in a soapy film. I shower about twice a day and a bar typically lasts a month. The price point is on par for other boutique soaps I have used.

This is my all time favorite soap, until now, I was only able to find it at small, select beauty stores; but I’m thrilled to find it here for such a great price. The scent is light, but earthy and deep, not sweet or soapy smelling like others. Great gentle exfoliating, and lasts a long time! Lathers up great on a poof.

This soap not only smells wonderful but cleanses my face really, really well. Lasts a long time in the shower too! A friend gave me my first bar as a birthday gift. I am now using my 3rd bar. I keep it in the shower. The fragrance is amazing.

After purchasing volcanic ash soap in St Lucia, I wanted to try another soap since it was too pricey to buy again due to shipping. I was so happy to find this soap on Amazon and will order again. I am using this soap for my face - smooth clean feel and doesn't dry my skin. I truly believe that the volcanic ash soap is good for your skin and gives you a clear complexion. I also have noticed that my age spots have gotten lighter.
