Sturdy and well made to a highly professional standard. The red light is less visible to Heterocera, but if too bright can still be detected, so the excellent dimmer switch mode is a key usp and advantage over other similar torches. Of over forty compared, this was the only one with a dimming facility. Works well on initial inspection. On balance, I consider that this represents excellent overall value for money.

Die Lampe ist kompakt und hat stufenlos dimmbares Rotlicht, das mit einem leisen Klick einzuschalten geht.Der Fokus ist verstellbar, so dass auch Entfernungen bis 100m ausreichend zu beleuchten sind. Klar, gibt es noch stärkere, aber die Kombination von Rotlicht, Fokus und Dimmung macht diese Lampe so praktisch.Wer ohne teure Nachtsichttechnik Sauen jagen will, hat damit alles was man braucht. Schon erfolgreich erprobt!

Purchased my Ultrafire red wave length torch a year and a half ago. This is a torch, that in terms of engineering quality, appears equal to a MAGLITE torch. I like the fact that the zoom and adjustable focus is very smooth; along with the stepless diming control. Very pleasant to use. Equally, the screw thread to remove the battery is likeably smooth and refined in operation. The supplied Ultrafire 18650 2600mAh battery lasts about 1.5 - 1.75 hours on the light's brightessed beam, which is bright for a red light and can project a long way when narrowly focused. The battery charger is simple to use and adequate, but be prepared for the fact that the battery can take a long time to charge (over night won't be enough). Consequently I purchased a high capacity rechargeable XTAR 3500 mAh lithium-ion battery, which I always carry with me for those inevitable times when the battery runs out.I carry the torch in my coat pocket whenever I am out bird watching; particularly during the winter, and have been very grateful for it when making my way through dark unlit country paths late at night. The red light is much easier on the eyes than a white light torch, which is welcome.Value for money is very subjective due to inequality of incomes. I purchased mine in March 2021 when it cost £25.99. You will have to judge whether it is now worth the increased investment. However, judging by the engineering quality, it should last a long time and serve well.

Sehr gute Lichtleistung und robuste Bauweise. Allerdings löst der Einschaltknopf in der Tasche relativ leicht aus wodurch sich die Lampe unbeabsichtigt einschalten kann. Etwas tieferer Knopfeinsatz wäre vorteilhafter.
