My wife purchased this umbrella from Amazon and it arrived defective. There is a geared mechanism that allows the umbrella to rotate. That mechanism was defective for my umbrella - it won't turn at all. To make matters worse, in order to tighten the bolts that hold the umbrella, you HAVE to turn it. It is not safe for me to continue to assemble since there is no way to tighten those hex bolts. I tried to contact them via their website and there is no phone number to call. I tried sending an email and got no response. Good luck with if you decide to purchase this. If it is defective, you will have no means to get the issue resolved.
