Great tool kit for my grandson and his model building

This is a nice and simple tool kit for building gundam or other similar models. They are useful for different types of hobbies or crafts. The small size makes them great for travel and storing. They do what is needed and were a nice price. My son is happy with them.

Tons of good tools but get God hand nippers

I do like this 20 piece model tool set. It includes all the right size files and tools for working with models and trains, However, the nips broke the first time I used them. Either they were cracked and I failed to notice it or they are not heavy enough to cut without breaking,

Great tools for modelers!

I've used these tools to create 4 miniatures and they are all still in great condition. I highly recommend purchasing this kit if you are getting into building miniatures. I love that it comes with it's own container to keep things organized. This kit is also at a great deal - it's not expensive for all the tools you get.

Used this to create a 1:100 scale doll house (very tiny!) and the tools worked great. I especially like the variety of tweezers. I used them all. The knife, cutters, and mini screw driver were also useful and the appropriate size for the job. Love that is comes with the case. I have no idea what the yellow plastic triangle thing is used for, but used most of the other items.

Makes a great addition to Modeling accessories.

As you can see from the picture this kit comes with a lot - nippers, sanding sticks, buffing sponge, screwdrivers, ruler, metal files, hobby knife, replacement blades, tweezers... yellow piece of plastic that I'm not sure what it's for... It seems like a great value for your money but unfortunately a lot of these items are either poor quality or unnecessary. The metal files are basically garbage, with bits of metal shavings falling off before you even try sanding with them. The screwdrivers are completely unnecessary - if you're buying kits that use screws, you're almost certainly not a beginner. I'm not sure why you'd need a ruler but I'm sure I'll find a use for it somewhere. The sanding sticks are pretty decent quality and sturdy but unfortunately there's no indication of what grit each piece is, so you have to guess and go by feel to make sure you're starting rough and working your way progressively smoother. The biggest disappointment for me were the nippers. They did a good job cutting through the plastic runners, but unfortunately the spring mechanism stopped working for me about 3 weeks after using. It can be a bit hard to see in the picture, but the metal spring is only held in place by a bent piece of wire pushed into a hole - only now it just keeps popping out, meaning the nippers don't open back up when in use. The hobby knife and the tweezers are probably the best things in here, although of the several pairs they provide I've only really needed to use one... but they have extremely fine tips at a nice angle that makes applying decals much easier. Overall I'm not terribly impressed and I'd recommend just buying the tools you need separately rather than trying to save money on this.

Great kit tools inside are good quality. Used it on many kits even building a TT-02 kit worked perfectly the magnetized screw driver tips help.

Stuff is usable and reliable and replaceable

This is a great set. I bought it for making model cars and it has everything you need.

Those articles are very helpful for wooden model ship building. It makes certain tasks much easier to handle. Good quality.
