Great quality at a budget price - SECOND UPDATE
I was so happy with this shade that I bought a second one, in a different color, in June 2020. This one had a seam across the center that started leaking with the first rain. I was sad. I took it down and put Gorilla tape across the seam, on both sides. This has nearly eliminated the leak, but it has greatly detracted from the look. Had it happened within the first 30 days, I would have definitely returned it. The seam does not show in the online photos, so you might want to check.Update: I thought I had posted the review below when I first hung this sun shade, but it looks like I never hit the submit button. So...that was nearly a year ago (June 2018), and I am even more pleased with it now. Still providing shade, still waterproof, still a vibrant yellow. Knowing what I know now, I would have paid twice the price and still felt I got my money's worth. This sun shade was much higher quality than I expected for the price. I put it over my 10x12 patio, which has walls on all four sides. It was easy to install with eye hooks and bungee cords (not provided). Note, as other reviewers have said, the sides do curve somewhat, so it is not an exact square. It does block a lot of sun, and it is virtually waterproof. I had difficulty getting it to the right angle for rainwater to run off (needs to be lower on one end), but I finally put an additional hook low on one corner to attach it for water runoff. (This gave it a sort of sail look.) If I need the height, I just move it to the higher hook. on rainless days. This has made my patio so much more pleasant on hot Texas days.

Waterproof. Droops in the middle during a rain.
This is a good tarp/shade. It is indeed waterproof, good color, and well made. My disappointment is that it is not possible to get it tight enough. Even though i have the four corners solidly anchored and a 20% slope, during a heavy rain, water pools in the middle and the entire middle of the tarp bulges like an ulcer. I have taken to putting a pole in the middle just to get a bit of a peak to spill the water.Currently, I am trying to affix a loop along the middle seam so that I can attach a line from the top to help give it a lift. So, it is not exactly what i hoped for but am hoping I can figure out a way to make it work.

sags unless highly slanted
I tried several configurations for hanging this. The middle fabric is more stretchy than the edge (should be opposite) so it catches and holds rain in a giant waterfilled sag in the middle (Even with maximum tension on the sides). I estimate that the difference between the "high side" and "low side" when installed needs to be AT LEAST 2 feet for rainwater to not collect in middle. This didn't work for the area we wanted to use it for.

What a temperature change!
This has been an amazing addition to our deck! It performs as advertised and was easy to install with a bit of knowledge of tools. The change in atmosphere and temperature in our den was wonderful. That has been a big deal with +100° temps all summer.

Affordable canopy option for my deck
I bought this to replace an old one I made to fit my deck. This is light weight and fit my deck perfectly. I am not sure how it will stand up to wind and rain since I do not have it strung taunt. But right now it is lovely and provides a good amount of shade without being too dark.

Definitely serves the purpose!
We love our sails! Our porch didn't have a lot of shade so we added these to our back porch to make it more useable.

Pleased with our purchase
This sunshade worked well for a project in our back yard to shield our pool equipment from the sun and rain. It's heavy duty and just as pictured. Durable, solid construction. Pleased with our purchase.

Good cover for the price.
Nice cover for my patio. Has fade badly in just one summer.

Not as advertised
This product is 100% not waterproof. Water resistant perhaps, but not waterproof. Weather here put it too the test the first week. Between torrential downpour to calm, light rainstorms, it failed.Installation was a breeze and I thought I’d actually buy another one initially to take camping with me (not anymore). There’s a middle seam on the fabric that has been sealed. After about day three it began to raise and by a week it was peeling off in some places.Really disappointed in this product.

Bon achat
Nous utilisons le voile pour nous protéger du soleil, très efficace. Nous n’avons pas tester l’imperméabilité car nous roulons la toile entre les utilisations. Nous sommes satisfaits du produit.
