Beautifully packaged and everything seems good quality. Because I saw a lot of iterations of similar sets I assumed this would probably be a little cheap and drop-shipped, but I’m actually impressed with the quality and the packaging was so nice it would make a nice gift. Haven’t tried the sumi ink yet, but everything looks exactly as pictured, and they actually threw in a free fourth dinky dip holder/suction. Says everything was packaged in NY by Oblique Love Letters. Good purchase.

The ink quality is good. I love the little suction cups and holds the ink. This was a great set. I bought it about a year and a half ago and I still use it :) great quality and a good price. No leaks during transport.

It is one of the best (self) gifts that I have ever received. Most beautiful in the way it is presented to the special way it made me feel. I wanted these little dip ink wells with the silicone holders because they made such wonderful sense. Ink will dry out, get thicker if left open, so tiny little jars with airtight lids for tiny quantities seemed like a great solution for a sometimes-clumsy calligrapher. HOWEVER, what I failed to notice is these little jars are not glass, they are plastic. I reread the page and now I see that nowhere does the company claim, specifically, that they are glass, just as it also does not identify the material as plastic. Alas, using permanent inks will stain the plastic jars, and if allowed to sit for more than a few hours, will then taint the jar/lid and possibly leech into a new color later. The larger 1" glass ink well with the loose lid is lovely, but so impractical for this sometimes-clumsy calligrapher. Not sure about the quality of the Sumi ink yet, but at least it's in a glass bottle with a dropper. I'll keep the set and use some of the pieces, but I paid a lot for my faulty assumption.

I use every item every day. It is so cute. Packaged with love in all the details made me feel special. The ink wells and holders adhere to my glass table and kitchen countertop, the ink is top notch Sumi ink that is far superior than beginners ink I put water in the clear cup to keep my nib clean then let dry on the rose petal! Great product!!

Can’t tell you how many times the ink bottle holders have already saved me from accidental ink spills. The bottle of ink was a nice bonus as well.

LOVE this set! So much so that I ordered another to try just the glass pen. The free gift was a pleasant surprise. I will enjoy using everything on this journey to learning calligraphy!
