IR Torch 940nm Stepless Dimming Zoom Infrared LED Flashlight, Single Mode Mini Tactical Torch Waterproof Small Flashlighht for Night Vision, 501IR

I bought this 940, an 850 and a UV torch for messing about with my digital camera.The LED glows a very dull red, almost imperceptible. Sometimes I need to click twice for it to turn on, or maybe I should have read the instructions. Real men don't need instructions for a torch and put them straight in the bin.This seems to have a narrower cast than the 850 and not as "bright" but that could be down to the sensitivity of my modified camera. It certainly does work out in the garden at night and confirms my Sony A7RII can see 940+ once modified.This does get a little warm after a few minutes, but hey we're entering that spectrum I suppose.I had more fun with the 850 but if you specifically need a longer nm source then this certainly works. I could focus (manually) fine using this at night, but in the "good enough" zone.It's a good price - I researched building my own and the cost of a single 940 LED alone is more than this torch because it's such a niche thing. I've seen IR "ghost hunter" torches going for £70+ and they dont even have a lens or mirror to cast the light - just a bare LED wafting in the wind.I'm giving it 4 not because of a niggle, just the 850 was better for me and I've already given that 5!

Brilliant. Usedon night vision for rat control on a farm. Much better for close range stuff than when using a laser ir illuminator

Bis 70m einwandfrei zur Unterstützung brauchbar, muss aber auf "Vollgas" stehen. Der Schalter ist leise und gut dimmbar. Mit Handschuhen wird es allerdings schwierig. Selbstverständlich nicht so hell wie eine 850nm, aber DAS weiß man ja vorher eigentlich.

Verarbeitung ist mittelprächtig aber Lampe funtioniert. Wird bei hoher Leistung sehr warm.Größtes Manko: Hat sie nun 940 nm oder sind es die "normalen" 850 nm? Bestellt habe ich 940. Auf der Packung ist ein Aufkleber mit 940. Die beiliegenden Unterlagen sprechen aber von 850.Für 850 spricht auch das rötliche Schimmern der LED. Sollte bei 940 eigentlich nicht mehr zu sehen sein.

De construction plutôt solide (je ne ressent aucunement le besoin de faire particulierement attention à la lampe durant son utilisation)Cette lampe émet bien des infrarouges qui sont complètement invisibles à l'oeil nu. Pas de lueur rose visible.Fonctionne parfaitement avec une vision nocturne. Visible aussi avec un smarphone (testé avec un android galaxy s6 et iphone 5. On peut voir dans le noir avec le galaxy par contre L'iphone ne perçoit rien en IR) En points négatifs: il y a une LED au cul de la lampe qui s'allume quand la lampe fonctionne.La LED se met à clignoter quand on augmente (trop?) La puissance d'éclairage.Cette led est très visible de nuit, surtout si elle clignote, vous pouvez choisir de la couvrir d'un adhésif mais vous n'aurez plus d'indication de fonctionnement.À savoir que j'ai testé la lampe avec des AAA et 18650.Si les piles n'ont pas strictement le voltage nominal (rechargeable à 1.2v ou pile déchargée même légèrement!) La lampe se coupe si on met la puissance au max.Il n'est possible d'avoir la pleine puissance qu'avec une pile neuve, et pas longtemps.
