This pepper mill is so amazing. There are 75 settings on the grind, and the quality is undeniable in look, feel, and performance. It's super intuitive to figure out how to set it up, adjust the grind, change out the button if you you want for aesthetics, etc. It's the best of the best and I'm so glad I decided to buy this - definitely worth the $$

Exactly as described! Pumps out serious pepper. I love pepper and cook frequently. Previously, I just accepted whatever pepper I could get after my wrist was tired of turning the grinder. This is a serious device that only needs a few cranks to get a nice coating of pepper. You will eat more pepper, good thing pepper does not make you fat or have any side effects like salt. Remember those days when you could barely notice a change in peppercorn level with the clear reservoir in popular pepper grinders? Those days are over! After just a weekend of use, I decided to buy more peppercorns. Does your current grinder leave you wondering if the grind adjustment does anything at all? This will change your mind. A grinder to last a lifetime and leave you completely satisfied. I balked at the price but it is light years ahead of anything else and I have used them all. This pepper grinder shreds peppercorns faster than the government spends your money. Buy and enjoy!

I'm glad that my wife didn't make me return this pepper grinder, but if she knew the actual cost, I'm sure she would. Having said this, I've grown so tired of my Oxo pepper grinder which never worked the way it was supposed to from the outset (it never dialed down to a fine grind, just medium to large chunks). As a Kenji fan, I was hoping to buy the Unicorn Magnum, but this appears to be as rare as a unicorn. I also looked at the Hexclad and Peugeot models but I figured, if I'm going to spend a lot, might as well get a really good one that might last my lifetime. Is this pepper grinder worth it? Time will tell, but so far it is everything a pepper grinder should be. You can dial the fineness to your heart's desire and as others have said, it cranks out pepper at an incredible rate. The consistency is what matters most to me and this is all that and more. The quality and craftmanship are top-notch, and the heft and quality of the mechanism is obvious when you use it. The quality is also evident by the sheer weight of this device. Should you ever need to defend yourself from an intruder in your kitchen, forget the frying pan. This is the object you should reach for. The most annoying thing I've found is that the cap that covers the bottom (and keeps your counter clean) is very difficult to replace and this may be the newness of the gasket that might change as it wears. Would I buy this again? I hope I don't have to, but I would, as long as it is on sale (as it was when I bought it).

Spice up your life with this perfect pepper grinder. I am able to adjust the grind well and it has a catch cup for measuring the amount in a recipe.After 18 months I have to say, The heavy cost is Easy on your hands and builds convenience in ways no other pepper mill has. Worth every penny!

My husband and I like to use a lot of freshly-ground pepper when cooking, but our arthritic hands aren't thrilled at having to crank a pepper mill for the time it normally takes to get the amount of pepper we want. I thought the price sounded crazy but the idea of getting a lot of pepper out with minimal effort made me want to try it. I got this on sale during Prime Day and it was worth every penny! My husband does most of the cooking and loves showing off how easy it is to blast out pepper with one crank. Highly recommended if you love a lot of freshly-ground pepper and don't mind the cost!
