It stops the glare that was hurting my eyes causing eye strain, I work for many hours on my laptop sometimes well into the evening it blocks the glare a lot and helps to ease eye discomfort. Fits perfectly on my screen horizontally, its an inch longer which is just perfect because it also blocks the glare from my light on my nightstand from where my desk is. I dont see any mirror effect as some say in reviews, but I think it has a lot to do with how the light from the windows may be reflecting off of their screens/position of their computer screens relative to light bouncing off of their screens causing that "mirror effect".

I am really needing protection from blue light and have two 27" monitors that I work with daily. So when I saw these screen protectors and saw that they hung over the monitors, this was the best, non-permanent protection. They both came beautifully packed and protected, complete with larger bumpers that were for the hanging portion of the screen and smaller bumpers that were for keeping the screen protectors from laying directly on the monitor screens. They also came with a large 8"x8" polishing cloth, which will be needed, certainly.These feel well-made. Too early to say if they protect me from blue light since I just installed them (update later) but they are one thing: shiny. I can now see myself all the time when I look at them. The only thing to do is turn off the lights that cause that reflection and I am OK. But this is disappointing enough (especially for the cost) that I took off a star for the increase in the glare. The monitor screens themselves all have a matte finish and I'm OK with the workaround but would have preferred a non/less-reflective surface.

A search on Amazon brought up this particular screen and I bought one, not expecting much but intrigued by the great reviews.The relief I felt, when looking at my monitor after installing this screen, was tangible and immediate. Since that time, I have not felt the need to use eye drops, and the pain behind my right eye vanished almost overnight. Some people may be more sensitive to blue light waves than others, but if you have any concern about eye health or eye strain, this screen is worth a try. I bought a second screen for my second monitor.Installation was simple and almost non-existent. The screen has a generous lip, and the user only needs to hang the screen by its lip over the top edge of the monitor.The screen does generate a glare at times, but this is a small price to pay for the immense relief given to my eyes. Five Stars and Two Thumbs Up!

I want to buy another but this one is too big for my 22” Dell. Apparently I do t know how to measure. Still trying to figure out what size I need. Smh.

I purchased one of these for my other computer and when I got a new computer, it was a "Must Have"! Eye surgery had left me with an eye that will always be extremely sensitive to light and using a computer caused it to hurt severely. This blue light screen protector helped tremendously! I Very Highly Recommend the protector for anyone who spends much time on the computer! It has little clear rubber bumpers you place on the top and a couple on the back on each side so it doesn't damage your monitor in any way and can be easily lifted off whenever needed.
