We purchased two of these fixtures for the outdoor lighting of our backyard and they provide very bright light all the way past the tree on the other side of our fenced area. They were a snap to install and adjusted easily for maximum vision across the entire back yard. I tease my husband that you can now see our house from space!Very happy with our purchase!

Does a great job of lighting my barn front to prevent theft. However, you would not want this where it would shine in your windows at night because it is very bright

Yup, just like the reviews have advised about not buying cause it malfunctions. It's doing what everyone else has complained about off and on like every 30 seconds. And of course it started to malfunction today, day 30, now making it ineligible for a return. Great product, NOT!!!!!!

As other reviews have mentioned the brightness and coverage is unparalleled. The product installs quickly and for those who wish for a bit more waterproofing, just apply some silicone around the seal. The sensor has covers for those who prefer to operate the light at their own leisure via your designated light switch. The center module can be adjusted to be placed higher or lower (but not side to side) and the side modules are fully adjustable in all directions. My neighbors have several of these modern LED lights which differ in brightness but annoy nevertheless as they are all pointed at each others' homes and are quite the struggle to stare upon anywhere near the vicinity of the lumination. The saying goes, if you can't beat them, join them. So I purchased this particular item and it is by far the brightest and most annoying of them all. The first night I received several complaints from the neighbors, so that alone should tell you just how effective this product is. I'm looking forward to Daylight Savings. If you are a decent and considerate human being and are concerned about the mental stability of your neighbors' well-being, this product is definitely not for you.

I have an older home with existing flood lights mounted under the vinyl soffit. The Amazon product page for this shows a photo of this light being mounted in this postion. When the light arrived, everything said "wall mount" on the box and instructions. I thought I would try to make it work anyway. When I took down the old light I discovered it was not mounted to a 4 inch electrical box. It was just the wires coming through a hole and the connections were tucked inside the light's base. I intended to mount this light the same exact way, but that is impossible because the base of this light is filled / flush and no recess to tuck the wires into. I ended up having to rip out the soffit and installed a junction / mounting box which made for a difficult install. Initially I had trouble with the light shutting off on me. A moth or something would fly around the light and enough light was reflected back into the light sensor to make the light shut off. Even with the other cap installed. I ended up taping over the sensor with black electrical tape and the problem stopped. The light needs to come with a retrofit junction box about an inch deep that fits between the light base and the surface you are mounting it to. Not every light at every location that is being replaced is going to be up to today's electrical codes. The light itself is very bright compared to two 120w flood light bulbs. This light is not ideal for eave / soffit mounting as it limits the amount of adjustment of the light heads. However, the amount of light it puts out makes it worth the effort and trouble in mounting. I will give this one some time to see how it holds up and then will probably buy a few more.
