I ordered these to leave as part of a welcome package on the bed for my husband’s best friend when he visited. We hadn’t seen him in 5 or 6 years so I wanted to give him a little something and Sour Patch Kids are his favorite so I got the biggest bag I could find on short notice. He ate the entire thing in the week he was here. He was like a little kid when he saw them…definitely his favorite thing of the bunch. The bag was perfect. They weren’t sticky and melted together. They were like opening a mini bag from the gas station even though they shipped and sat for a week before he got here.

Well i looove sour patch kids and these did not disappoint. They were fresh and chewy and tasted exactly like the ones in the small packs. The value was awesome and you really cant go wrong with that. The zipper seal is not great so i put them in a different container.For anyone that may not have eaten these candies, they are sour on the outside, but the actual candy itself is quite sweet. On a sour level i would say these are about a 3 because the sour barely lasts at all and your left with a very sweet candy. They don't really stick to your teeth much, but if they are hard and not terribly squishy they aren't fresh.

If you've never had sour patch kids, and you like sour gummy candy, you're really missing out!I don't know how to desribe them except to say that they are a soft, chewy, fruity flavored gummy candy, coated with a sour sugar. The red ones, after the sour sugar is gone, taste almost identical to red swedish fish, if that helps to imagine what the fruit flavors taste like.My wife and I love them, and the sale price of this size bag was a good value. The bag is resealable and while the seal can be tricky to engage, it does function to keep them fresh.Our 3.5 pound bag arrived fresh and delicious. I would purchase this item again.

Was a little skeptical ordering these as bulk but nothing got damaged on the way or showed up stale/bad! The sell by date is next month so that's nice, it's not something that has gone bad or will only last a few more weeks. The quality is also nice - not stale and nothing was melted or anything. I was worried that these would be old or damaged but I was pleasantly surprised by the nice quality. Will be looking for these again very soon. Much cheaper than the grocery store and excellent quality!The only thing that wasn't good or as advertised was that they sent me two 1.9lb bags instead of the 3.5 lb one. I was purchasing this as half novelty half serious snack food. So the half serious was satisfied because it ended up being more than what I ordered. However, the novelty of giving a huge bag of sour patch kids to someone was not there since it was two smaller bags. Yes, you end up giving someone nearly four lbs of candy but it's not in one large bag so you lose the wow factor. It might not matter for many of you out there but I figured I'd let you know.Also, the switch was clearly intentional as they included a typed note that said something to the effect of "we know you wanted the big one but to preserve freshness here's two smaller ones! We hope that's okay."
