I believe this is the only battery operated portable kettle on the Amazon market. Yes, it takes long to charge, yes it's heavier than a water bottle, yes the button is not as intuitive, and yes it doesn't hold a ton of water. HOWEVER this is the only portable kettle that will get a cold bottle of water to boil less than 10 mins! Have enough water for 2 normal cup ramen! Small enough to fit in a backpack and about the same weight as a yeti 32oz tumbler full with water. And the most important part is that my daughter can take hot water with her anywhere! Another great idea is a quick hot meal in-between her games, at the slopes between runs, hot coco at camp, and hot water for tea and coffee for me and my wife. Pretty amazing find. Must buy!

This product doesn’t work. It heats water to about 40C and then the battery dies. This after leaving it on the charger for over 12 hours. Unfortunately it’s not possible to boil water using a battery.

Works very good

I live in an apartment and experience periodic power outages lasting no longer than half-a-day. So, it would be nice to be able to at least boil water for an instant soup or cup of coffee. I can't afford an expensive backup power supply, so this is a great inexpensive alternative... and it works fantastic! The first charge freaked me out a little, as the LCD display on the kettle doesn't light up, but I noticed that the power light on the plug-in wall adapter was initially green and then turned red when I connected it to the kettle. I waited until it turned green again and I was good to boil! A large instant soup takes nearly 400 ml and a cup of coffee about half that amount. So, two boiling runs works out perfectly. I'm now a happy indoor camper! Recharge time can take up to 10 hours, but what do you expect for a large battery and one that appears to have safety in mind.

I bought this kettle to use both on my chemo days to make tea and maybe a cup of sou, as well as days after when I’m not feeling so great.You can only boil twice before it has to be charged again. It takes hours to recharge it. It would be better if there were the ac and usb charging options.The lid doesn’t always go on kettle easily either. It continuously wants to go crooked and makes it difficult to use at times.There is a mark for max fill on one side only and not always easy to see in some lighting.The power button is not easy to use. You have to press and hold it just right or it won’t turn on.It seems for the price, there could be more user friendly and lighter.

This is a good product. Boils water twice on single charge, long charging time, small capacity for water.

The first one they sent wouldn’t charge either the adapter was faulty or the mug was I don’t know which, Amazon support quickly issued me a replacement and I sent first one back ups after I was able to check the second one sent and it works wonderfully and as promised thank you

Charge for over 8hours per user manual and still low battery. Does not work at all…always stuck on low battery
