I have seen videos listing selenium as one of the essential nutrients that might help against Covid-19, however all of these warn against taking too much selenium.Brazil nuts are the only dietary source of selenium mentioned, and within this context they state that it is only safe to eat 3 brazil nuts per day. I love brazil nuts, and have been pigging out on them since my purchase, but I am now concerned about my selenium intake.It would be helpful if selenium were listed in yje nutrients list.

They taste fresh and are an excellent price. Exactly as described; broken chunks and some dust but most peices are 75% whole nuts with a small chunk broken off. These mostly whole peices are mixed in with some smaller size chunks. They taste fresh. As someone who cooks a lot I'm very familiar with what rancidity tastes like and these are not rancid at all. An excellent price for a good source of selenium. I eat 2 to 4 a day (15 grams?) most days of the week. They came in a thin plastic bag, in a cardboard box. So you'll need something to store them in.

Brazil Nuts are usually very expensive. These were more reasonable and are very good for what I use them for. I make my dogs a vitamin with grinding up Brazil Nuts, sun flower seeds, and almonds and sea weed. A holistic vet gave us the recipe and it makes your dogs coat beautiful as well as making their immune system more powerful. These nuts was quite a deal and quality also.

I really enjoyed these Brazil nuts. I eat 1 nut every morning for their selenium. I store them the bag in the freezer and just put a handful in a baggie in the fridge to eat for the week.
