Love it. Great for camping trips.
Constantly us this. So easy. Whole chicken. Kebabs. Roasted veggies. Cakes. I put it in a plastic garden tub to deflect the wind.

Great slow cooking grill
This is a great grill for slow cooking chicken, pork, beef & fish. Pour some marinade in the moat, put your meat and vegetables on and check after a half hour and maybe every 15 min after that. Meat comes out nice and tender, and you can taste the flavor you added to the moat.I added vegetables to the moat wrapped in tinfoil with mixed results. Potatoes can come out undercooked since there is not that much heat down there. It usually works best to stack everything up on top. The cooker uses very little charcoal (6-8 briquettes) so it would be a great choice if the power is out for a few days and you need a way to cook food without power. I also have a gas grill which works better for hot dogs, hamburgers or steak (which cook quickly). I have cooked hamburgers with the cob, but it is a different experience. The cobb works best when slow cooking to bring out the flavor. Think of it as a charcoal crock-pot. If you love flipping burgers and putting out flame-ups, get a gas grill. If you like tender, nicely flavored meat with a minimum of fuss, this grill is for you! It is hard to wreck a meal and is fun to experiment with. It is a leisurely way to grill! The only other limitation is space. It is nice and compact, but expect to cook for 3 or 4 people, there is only so much room in the grill. This is a great grill to take camping as it is compact and requires a minimum of fuel.It cleans up nice and easy. After cooking, pour some soap and water in the moat while there are still some warm coals. This will make cleaning easier. Then everything wipes down easy since the moat is usually where things may stick. I also liked the bag that comes with the grill, it makes it easy to store or take with you.I made a simple charcoal starter out of an old coffee can. I drilled holes and weaved wire to make a simple grill for the charcoal. Just place the briquettes and add newspaper underneath and light. 5 to 10 minutes later, the charcoal is ready to move to the cobb. Put the briquettes in the cobb, and away you go.In short, I love to use this grill when I have the time. If you need food on the table in 15 minutes, this is not the grill to use. If you have an hour or two for a roast or a chicken, this will create a melt-in-your-mouth feast that will wow your family or guests.

Buy this one and stop wasting money every bbq season
Best bbq ever and one to last for years...portable, easy to clean, durable, practical. You can use as a bbq, and you can minimise smoke by adding a bit of water in the chamber around the fire. It will keep you food moist as well. Very easy to clean in dishwasher. And. Also very compact to carry with its carrying bag. You can enjoy having a barbecue on your dining table without burning anything underneath. I use foodgrade coal and even the smallest amount lasts enough to cook everthing. What I like about it most is that you can even cook on your balcony without disturbing the neighbours. Windy days don’t worry, your meat will coon perfectly with the cap on. I would recommend buying this item 1000%. Very happy customer

WOW! We have had this Cobb cooker for a little over 3 weeks and I've used it about 12 times. I had a big gas grill a few years back and I really did not enjoy cooking on it or cleaning it. This cooker does what it says it will do. I use the lump wood charcoal as suggested by lots of folks and Diamond brand firestarter and it works great. Ready in 15 minutes. I've done a whole chicken, ribs, burgers, brats, pork chops. chicken breasts , steaks, shrimp, salmon fillets and rock fish and my husband made pizza on it. It takes a bit of experimenting to get your cooking times adjusted but everything has turned out great so far. I did order the griddle and the fenced roasting rack and I'm glad I did. Plan to order the fry pan as my husband wants to use it to make pizza. Every part of it has been easy to clean. I don't have a dishwasher but clean up in my kitchen sink has been no problem. It is amazing how little charcoal it uses. And no more lighter fluid or flame ups! Most of the time I'm cooking for just me and my husband but we've also cooked for up to 4 people. It is the perfect size for us and easy to take anywhere. I ordered the cookbook but I don't recommend it. Was a waste of $20 bucks. We are very pleased with this product. I watched a lot of You Tube videos on this cooker before buying it and they were very informative. Also as always the Amazon customer reviews were very helpful.
