My oddest was determined to get her backsl handspring but with tumbling only once a week it was taking forever so we got this for her and she used it almost daily and finally nailed it. Held up well for 2 kids and a dog playing on it. It has since moved on to the next cheer leader looking to gain new skills.

I had a bit of a hard time gauging what size to get so I hope this helps someone else. My child is 5’4” currently, and we purchased the size Large. She still has plenty of room to grow with it, and yes it’s pretty big, but I don’t think the next size down would have been beneficial to her. Great quality!

Works great for my daughter. She has them in her gymnastics class but only goes once a week. This has helped her with her back hand springs as she can practice everyday instead of once a week.

Had gotten the large one for my grand daughter for her April birthday. Only thing she wanted for her birthday. Chose that size after reading the reviews and what others had purchased. It turns out she is really having trouble using it the way it should be used as she still seems to be too short for it and she’s afraid of getting hurt. That’s her, though. Just checked and realized that it is past the send back cut off time but was very happy with quality, etc but just needed to exchange it for the medium one so she can use it now for dance class.

Please please don’t think this large octoagon may will fit in your small country home doorways. We had to shove it in. It’s exactly what I bought. Great mat! But my fault I underestimated the size
