THIS tanner is fantastic and delivers for a fraction of the cost (yes, I've paid $200 on a lotion that wasn't anywhere close to how good this one is). The odor is coconut-y with none of the "burnt skin" smell even after full time in a stand up or lay down bed. My trick for best results - apply this lotion and let it dry (within seconds). Wear loose clothing before and after you go to the salon. And do NOT shower for at least 6 hours afterwards to let the color develop. I go 24 hours before showering and see a noticeable difference. If you worry about smell, use a coconut body spray or even the coconut lotion by Hempz.
