Just thick enough
These valves are made from just the right material thickness to perform well and not invert themselves when facing high pressure or temperatures. Yet to try the orange gold standard ones mind

Don't waste your time! Won't seal to hold vacuum, which is their only job!
Anyone that has performed this unpleasant maintenance task knows that it's not one you want to do any more often than necessary. If you choose to save a few bucks on these, that's exactly what you'll be doing. I bought two of these 4 packs, and upon successfully installing one set on one of my two pumps they leaked audibly and caused the pump to cycle repeatedly. In other words, they leak like a sieve, the exact opposite of what they're supposed to do. They may be expensive, but the genuine Dometic seals are the only ones I've found to work reliably. They were not available when I needed these, so I took a chance. Couldn't get back to the boat to install and test until the return window had closed, so I'm left with 8 junk valves. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and pass on these.

Do not work
This spring I decided to redo my dometic toilet system as the hoses were starting to deteriorate so new hose new duckbills right? WRONG...... These duckbills lasted only 4 weeks in service before completely failing. Vacu flush toilets do not work with out the vacuum. The Dometic valves I replace were 10 years old and never leaked. So a word to the wise, do NOT buy these duckbills for a Dometic toiled system, pay the extra and buy dometic.
