Tracks, Scats and Signs (Take Along Guides)

this book was not just helpful in identifying animal tracks but was so full of information about each animal. My grandson loved reading about them and learned so much. The way the information was presented was amazing for children of many ages to understand. He is 7 and really enjoyed it. We use it every time we go hiking. I highly recommend this book. We've been collecting the set of the Take Along Guides and this book is as informative and engaging as the others in the series. It's colorful with beautiful illustrations and the text is easy for a child to follow. Let's face it, what kid doesn't like a book that talks about poop.

I bought for my grandson and encourage him to pay attention to nature!

My five year daughter has loved these books. I bought this one and another one for her, and she had me read them to her dozens of times. The illustrations could be a little better and the quality; however, they are terrific for children. Even as an adult, you will learn quite a few things using these books. I do think they could’ve used more animals or expanded a little of more on unique facts about the animals they chose to highlight.

I bought this for my grandson who is very interested in tracking animals. It was very educational and has great pictures with each animal. I would recommend it any day and can't wait to order other books in the series!

Colorful illustrations and kid friendly explanatory text make for an exciting foray into the exploration of the natural world.

We purchased this book (and several others like it, but different topics) for our grandchildren. My husband and I both looked at them when they came and we loved them ourselves! The pictures are great and the print is the perfect size. I think it gives enough information, but not too much information. It's not so long that the kids will get bored before they are finished reading it.

Great for the kids to help explore nature

We bought this for a friend for her baby shower. She is very outdoorsy and this book will be of benefit when her child is older and learning stuff outside. She liked it. The book appears to be well made too

My son loves this book. The pictures are nice and bright. He’s had so much fun looking through the forest behind our home for animal tracks.
