B+W 82mm Master Clear MRC Nano 007M Glass Filter

If you need the best filters for your new lenses, B+W has been a consistent choice for me for over a decade at this point. I used to use Hoya filters, which are fantastic as well, but over time, and speaking as a wedding photographer, the Hoya Lenses after successive wipes, they coating will get damaged and reflect some weird artifacts. Not the B+W with their nano coating. I haven't had an issue with B+W filters and this is after impact after impact. I highly recommend these filters if you can afford them and you need some impact protection. But by all means, if you need a VND, check out Freewell, if you need something cheaper and you're an occasional photographer, the Hoya ones are fantastic too!

If you are spending $1500+ on a lens, you do need a filter/lens protector that can match that quality of glass. Very happy with my purchase

I have used B+W clear protection filters for years, and this 82mm Master Clear MRC Nano 007M continues that tradition of excellent build and optical quality. The glass is very clear, with no visible impact on image quality, and the nano coating makes cleaning dust and fingerprints much easier. My previous generation B+W clear filter lasted several years but eventually left some spots on the lens that I could not fully remove, which was disappointing. I have been using this newer version for a while now and, so far, it has performed very well with no such issues. If this improved coating holds up long term, it should be an excellent choice for protecting high-end lenses.

Gute Qualität, aber die schlechte Verpackung beim Versand sorgt dafür, dass der Filter vor dem Benutzen erstmal gereinigt werden muss weil er voller Staub ist.

The filter itself is good quality but is packaged in a rough textured cloth bag instead of a plastic case like the previous XS-Pro so dust/particles can easily go in to cause scratches and makes it very dusty when you first take it out to use. The one I received has a huge scratch across the entire front of it which couldn't have been caused my cleaning because I meticulously used a air blower, lens brush before using a Zeiss lens wipe. Needless to say, you should avoid until B+W changes their packaging. Trying to return the item is a nightmare as well because you have to send it to Slovakia and both this and the T-Pro I returned keeps getting rejected by their local customs.
