RE: LEDGLE LED Neck Reading Light Black 3000-7000kThis LEDGLE LED Neck light appears identically made to the Vekkia Hug Light that I also purchased. They are the same size and shape, and the same materials and their buttons operate the same way. The first press turns on one light, the second press turns off the first light while turning on the second light instead, and the third press turns on both lights together. The fourth press turns them off.But what I like better about the LEDGLE LED Neck light is that one of the bulbs on each side is a yellowish amber color so it gives off a softer light resembling the old tungsten light bulbs we used to use in our lamps back in the day. I find that for my eyes, the bright bluish-white light from the LEDs is a bit harsh and unnatural. I find the yellowish-amber color is easier on my eyes especially while reading. And I just like that the LEDGLE LED neck light gives us the option of having either light. You can have a bright white light if you want, or you can have a softer more traditional-looking light, OR you can have them BOTH on at the same time which gives a nice mixture of the two.If all you need is a bright white light, I would go with the Vekkia Hug Light because I do think it is slightly brighter. But this LEDGLE LED neck light is my preference and they are great for walking outside in the dark, and for times when you need to direct a more specific light beam on something you're working on, like when I have to crawl under the desk and pull the printer apart.The velcro Strap that comes with the LEDGLE seems like a good idea but in practice, I find it quite fiddley to use. When the strap is on, it does not leave a big enough opening to slip the light on over your head so if you want to use the strap to hold the ends together, you'll have to put it on and position it while the light is around your neck. It slips off the ends easily unless you wrap it around tightly. These lights will sit up on a table, bend around doorknobs and hang from hooks. You can virtually place them in any contortion anywhere in the house. If you set them on the desk and bend the ends up, they make a good mobile phone stand. 😁Everybody should have two or three pairs of these. They're a life-saver when the power goes down. Easily charged from any USB socket, power bank, laptop, or computer. The Vekkia Hug Light I mentioned uses a USB C charge cable. This LEDGLE LED Neck light uses a MICRO USB charge cable which is a slight inconvenience to me as my phone and other devices use USB C and it would be nice to be able to use the same but I will put up with it because I like the light. When charging, there is a small light on the neckband that is red and turns green when it's fully charged.

I bought this to read in bed at night so I wouldn't have to get up to turn off the lights. It's uncomfortable to lie down with this thing around (and therefore under) your neck so I just rest it on my chest. Since the ends are bendable, I can adjust the position as needed.It's pretty bright even at its lowest setting. Just 1 light is bright enough to read with. I wish it there was a dimmer setting, but it's no biggie. It seems to hold its charge for quite a long time.What I discovered is that it's also great for walking at night. I have tried so many different variations of night lights, from head lamps to camping bulbs, and this one is by far the best. In fact, it's pretty perfect for that purpose. It's hands-free, sits comfortable around your neck, you can adjust the angle of each light, AND it's bright enough to light the path. The light shines outward so it overs a lot of ground. Better even than the smartphone flashlight.One unexpected use for this was when our power went out for 12 hours at night. This beats any flashlight or candle because you can wear it around your neck and take it with you throughout the entire house without any inconvenience. I was able to brush my teeth, do the dishes, get dressed, read of course, and walk around the whole house in the dark with just this light and nothing else lighting the house. We've had power outages before this, and it was REALLY nice to not have to remember to grab the flashlight when moving from room to room.This is a great little gadget. Good for reading but a must have if you walk at night or as an emergency light. Really, it should be in everybody's emergency kit.

Got these for my wife for Christmas, these are a wonderful concept, very bright and very easily adjustable and they have a long charge life, w/ a very quick recharge. Trouble we had a month ago, was that one side would blink off and on when the light was adjusted (short inside the wiring harness?) after contacting the company through Amazon, explaining the issue, I was asked to send a video or images of the light not working, this was kind of a mess, because for some reason they could not see or get the video I sent. after a few emails back and forth, and explaining I don't know what else to do, but trust me I am not lying, this light is broke, they sent a new one out and it arrived quickly after the notice of sending it. 5 stars on product idea and engineering, 4 on quality (some things happen, hope it does not happen with the new ones) 3.5 on customer service in the beginning and 5 at the end, trusting me, as a consumer telling them the truth.. I would recommend buying this product.

...and we still love them. We use this to walk our doggie at dusk to night especially during fall and winter time. Using this item always feels like we are having our own street light. We never really enjoyed walking at night time before we got these because I think, really don't even remember, we used to use flash light(?). But ever since we got this neck LED light, we actually enjoy walking at night time because it feels like as fun as day time vision wise. I use one and my wife use one and our doggie has his own little light by his neck(different clip type LED and loop type that goes around his neck).This one has three different settings and we always use max brightness.We love flexibility of wires because you can very casually, with no effort, just let one towards doggie and one towards direction walking. Picking up poop can never be easier with these hands free spot light :)Battery wise, we never had any issue because we kinda charge randomly when we feel like charging. Never felt the light got dim or anything just charge when feels like we haven't for a long time. Otherwise we let it just hang by the door.Once you get this, you too will start enjoy walking at night and feels sorry for walkers without light or for their small flash light :D

This neck light is perfect for doing craft in low light - such as knitting or crochet in the evening. It enables you to see clearly without disturbing others by needing a large bright light on in the room. The fact that you can have the left or right lights on independently is particularly useful - as are the three different settings on each side. Its really light and comfortable. It also charges pretty quickly. If you're looking for a way to craft in the evenings without turning the room into Blackpool Illuminations buy this light

Love everything about this light. Exactly as advertised. Even having only one side lite up provides enough light for everything I do. Even knitting. I live rural with no street lamps and it's even helpful outside after dark. My headliamps will never be used again.
