Sweet Love (January Cove Book 8)

Another great book! Rachel knows how to keep you glued! I have a hard time putting these books down once started. Very enjoyable.

He runs into Laura and even though there relationship starts out strained the end up developing a friendship but Brett is keeping a big secret from her.Once she finds out the secret will this relationship last. Sawyer Griffin needs to lay low for a while & try to recover from his frenetic pace & failed album. He's disillusioned by the country music world & thinks he wants to quit but comes home to January Cove to hide & think it over.Laura Bennett is newly divorced & grieving over the loss of her mother. Due to an encouraging friend, she shakes off her boredom & decides to try to live as she thought her mother would want. In cleaning out the house, Laura found a vision board that she assumed was her mothers from years ago. So Laura goes to the town on the vision board, buys a building, converts it to a bakery & tries to move on.When Sawyer walks into Laura's bakery, he can't believe she doesn't know who he is! They have instant chemistry & he loves that with her, he knows she's interested in him, not his money.I really enjoyed this one. Sawyer & Laura were both disillusioned with their jobs but hesitant to make a change. Laura actually struck me as timid & shy at the beginning. I loved seeing her open up & her personality changing as her "snarky" side re-emerged. She actually ended up with a sarcastic witty sense of humor. Like all January Cove books, they are part of a series but you can read them as stand alone books without feeling lost & missing the back stories. Another great read by Rachel!

I love how this series has some of the same characters but that each book could be read by itself. The main characters in this one were great and it loved reading how their relationship unfolded.

Book itself was in great shape however there were to stickers on the back of the book that barely come off and one left a horrible residue! If you are going to put stickers on books make sure they are removable stickers!

I thought this a very unique story, yet up-to-date -timely with today's tends! I liked the lovely descriptions of the ocean and beaches, also the suggestive romantic parts. Keep up the good work!😀😀

I gave this 4 stars...because it was wonderful and nothing with the exception of nature is perfection. Just sit back.on a lazy afternoon and or evening and enjoy! I never read women'sFiction until.I'm was 79 and in a pandemic isolated from so much. Enjoy. Be safe.
