A very good dosage, but also very expensive
This supplement contains 1300mg of a phosphatidylcholine complex in a two capsule dosage, at a cost of £1.40 per day.The capsules are quite large, similar to a typical omega 3 oil capsule. The problem I have with these is that the "phosphatidylcholine complex" is actually comprised of:Phosphatidylcholine,Phosphatidylinositol,Phosphatidylserine, and PhosphatidylethanolamineAll of those are combined into their 1,300mg dosage, and there's no breakdown of how much of each is included, so you cannot be clear on whether you are consuming a clinically-relevant dosage of any individual ingredient from this supplement. However, as this is an extract of lecithin from soy, which itself contains these nutrients in large quantities. The typical dosage of soy lecithin according to Examine.com is in the range of 500-2,000mg.At 500mg, there are studies showing around a 50% drop in LDL cholesterol in people who have high cholesterol levels. The majority of other research is not conducted on people, but on animals. Some of those studies show, in rats, better digestion, improved cognitive function, lower stress and improved immune responses. For myself, I like that this contains a source of phosphatidylcholine, as I use chole for improved cognitive function and to help with giving me that drive to work. There is less research behind this version of choline compared to citicholine, but it should theoretically also be helpful. So far I cannot comment on whether it is effective, but I have not noticed any difference as of yet.For the cost, this is quite expensive, and if you're only interested in the choline aspect then there are far cheaper ways to achieve that, but the one thing this is worth paying for is the clinical relevance for people with very high cholesterol levels. The dosage in each capsule is very relevant for that effect, so this is a very good supplement if that's what you're aiming for.

Far too soon to tell...
To be honest, Phospholipid supplements are something you pretty much take on faith. As with things like NMN and Reservatrol and Glutathione (all wonderful, by the way) you're benefitting your fundamental cellular structure, so while you're absolutely getting healthier on the inside (technically, younger) it's not something you'll necessarily see on the outside - especially if you have any existing health problems, or issues like obesity or diabetes. But, they are absolutely making you healthier on a cellular level, which is enormously powerful.Phospholipids are essentially a type of fat that give structure to your cells (our cells lose structure as we age) and form a shell around fats so they can be better evenly distributed around the body. This specific supplement is a Complex, meaning it contains both Phosphatidylcholine and Phosphatidylethanolamine which have slightly different functions. The thing is, I'm aware they're eye-wateringly expensive, so if you're just now starting to look into longevity and lifespan, I'd recommend dipping your toes in the water with NMN and Trans-Reservatrol which are a bit less scary!Alternatively, if you do want to try these, I really think they're excellent. They're a liposomal Phospholipid Complex supplement, meaning your body will absorb far, far more of the good stuff.I've been taking NMN, Glutathione and Reservatrol for months now (along with Apigenin, which is extraordinary stuff) so Phospholipids are new to me. As such, I've halved the recommended dose, so I'm taking just one a day, instead of two. Am always careful around new supplements anyway, but it also means the £69.99 asking price lasts over 3 months, instead of a month and a half. I don't suppose they'll work as fast, but they'll get there in the end, and it'll give me time to see whether they've made much of a difference. They're manufactured in the UK, too, by a UK company, and that's always extra wonderful. So, I completely get that it's too soon to tell... but am giving them 5 stars, pretty much on faith.

A well researched supplement. Taking to help inflammation and gut.
Phospholipids have been the subject of many studies and it is evident that dietary phospholipids have a positive impact in several diseases, apparently without severe side effects.I am not an expert, but I do like to research anything I put into my body, below are my findings from scientific research:“Inflammation is a biological response to harmful stimuli, such as pathogens or damaged cells, which is induced and kept up by a biochemical cascade involving inflammatory mediators like cytokines, chemokines and eicosanoids. There is a growing scientific rationale for the use of dietary PLs for the treatment of inflammatory diseases to regulate the inflammatory reaction.” My ESR and RF are super high, my last blood test showed my rheumatoid factor was 8 times higher than the high normal range. I have a form of vasculitis that causes inflammation, and my joints are swollen as I am hypermobile. Can help hepatic disorders including viral hepatitis and alcohol induced liver damage. I don’t drink but I do have non alcoholic fatty liver disease. They have also proved successful at improving gut health by repairing the gut lining. Ideal for me as I have real problems there, as well as bloating and constipation.Studies have also shown thatbeneficial effects in tumour and metastasis inhibition, reduces cardiovascular risks and slows age related memory impairment. The capsules arrive hygienically sealed and are about the size of cod liver oil capsules. I find them easy to swallow and they leave no aftertaste. I have been taking these for around a week and so far my gut health is a little better, I haven’t really noticed other changes, but it may be too early to tell so I will update my review if anything changes. You get 100 capsules that will last 50 days at the recommended dose of two per day, working out at just under £1.40 per day.
