The bowl was well packaged but not over packed. There is nothing more annoying in having to get rid of a load of not needed packaging. The bowl is the smaller of the two in the picture. Mrs c made a few decorative bits with the bowls and some sand and air plants. She also incorporated lots of bits picked up on beaches from over the years from various holidays. They make a nice addition to the house.

My wife Brenda got beguiled into buying one of these succulent plant kits which duly arrived with small plants and some sort of plastic sphere about 5cm in diameter for them to grow in. I was not pleased with her but what was done was done. As could be easily guessed the plants grew quickly and soon were too big for the ridiculous cheap and nasty container. Casting about in the dark we happened upon the large, glass, goldfi.sh bowl that looked right for the job in hand and hoped that we were not throwing good money after bad. We got it spot on and it was exactly what we were looking for and we now have the terrarium we wanted with plenty of space within for these succulents to develop in. Should have many uses as well as this but try not to drop it!

This product for what it's worth selling price is not reflective in the product. It's way too small than what has been advertised- please give it a miss

Used for my venus flytrap and so far it's been great.Lost a few traps after re potting but they're already growing back only after a week or 2 which is a really great sign the bowl is working well at keeping the conditions optimal (can see them growing in 2nd pic).Also very solid I should add, you don't feel like it's going to break from tapping it or something, it's not lightweight.
