Cancer Survivor Cookbook
This is a great book to get for recipes that help with all the different eating problems a warrior might have. Personal note here -- I don't like to refer to people fighting diseases as victims or patients. They aren't dead from the fight and they aren't patiently waiting for the disease to take them.Along with the recipes are pages of information on food issues and tidbits of knowledge about each recipe.I purchased this along with Betty Crocker's Living With Cancer cookbook. See separate review for that opinion.

I was easily able to maintain the calories
This is a valuable tool for a person who is dealing with nutrition issues due to chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy. I was made aware of this book through a nutritionist at the hospital where my husband was receiving treatment. I used it in conjunction with nutrition guides from the American Cancer society and it was very helpful in keeping up the dietary requirements suggested by the nutritionist. I was easily able to maintain the calories, protein, carbs, fat, iron, etc. in preparing foods. I credit this book with assisting me in keeping my husband's blood counts in a good range and also in helping him to gain back weight lost. I have purchased and given copies of this book to three other Cancer patients who said that it was very helpful. I still use many of the flavorful recipes in preparing meals.

Scanned it, Was a Gift
I bought as a gift so I actually have not tried recipes. However, the recipes looked simple, easy to prepare, as well as nutritious. As a cancer survivor, I know simplicity is essential. Furthermore, your taste buds aren't very cooperative so healthy and quick are the main things we need. I had a Cancer Cookbook given to me that listed recipes by symptoms and situations such as: recipes if you are nauseous, or have neurtropenia. In scanning, though it may be there, I didn't notice that feature. But from the quick scan, tithe book overall looked great.

Out dated material
This book was written in 2012 and is totally outdated for all the new spices recipes to fight cancer.
