I really like using these lights with alexa. But, a few months back, they were disconnected from wifi after an eero mesh software update. I knew I had to "pause the 5 Ghz band" on the eero router to add them back on. But, after several tries, I gave up. But, my family really missed using Echo to set the colors, so I tried again just this weekend. I emailed support. They quickly responded with some ideas. While trying their suggestions, I noticed that my phone remained connected to the 5 Ghz band - even when paused on the router.Long story short... I must "Forget SSID" while the router is in 2.4 Ghz mode and re-login to the wifi network. Then, follow the connection instructions in phone app. Viola! Everything works now.These are great value. They have great features and integrate well with both Alexa and Google.

These lights are cool for what they are. They are bright, good range of colors. My biggest issue with them is that I have 24 of them in a really large room and when you go to change the color on all of them (in a group created in the app) many times one or two of the lights wont change. Then it's an easter egg hunt to figure out the name of the one that isn't changing and manually go in and change it. But overall I really like the lights. Especially if you wont be altering the colors often.

These were installed on our patio. Easy to use and so many different settings to use with your phone.

We had some problems getting it to work with Alexa. This should not deter anyone because we are not very computer literate. If we can do it I am sure most any one would have no problem.Light works as it should bright to dim and what ever color you desire.

I had electricians install 8 of these fixtures and set them to 3500 Kelvin. They broke one of the spring levers and when I contacted the seller I got an immediate response and a replacement fixture very well packaged and protected 4 days later. When I looked at the fixture they took down I see that it had not broken due to poor manufacturing and might be reusable, as a spare.I had them set the color to 3500K, but then decided this is too blue for my living room and easily reduced it to 2700K, which will be fine. Generally the build is flimsy, but should be adequate located in the ceiling and very seldom to be touched. There is a nice tight fit and seal under the rim to keep the insulated attic from leaking heat or cold into the house. Also there is a cover above the hinged lamp so attic insulation can not interfere with easily adjusting the tilt of the lamp to compensate for the ceiling slope or to flood light in a specific direction.

we changed out of bunch of older lights for these potlights, and though i can't speak to the install i can say they are a serious improvement to the lights that we had. i'm very happy i got these, theyre a great price for gimbal lights
