Lovely colour blue nice retro kind of lookTakes a while slice of bread and cooks evenly both sides and doesn't leave a untoasted bit poking out the top. Its not to much to ask for a toaster that fits a slice of bread in it but it's a hard find getting one that achieves that miracule. Such a miricule now sits in my kitchen. yayyy plus it takes toasty size slices eg thick sliced breadIt's a good price too so at the moment I'm happy but now to see how long it lasts

Very happy as it took the bloomer bread I purchase for Aldi perfectly.(I did measure many other toasters before I found this fabulous one.)So many toasters only take a thin square slice of basic bread - why?Not this one.The slot size which manufacturers seem very reluctant to tell you is generous at:14.5 cm tall x 3cm x 14.5cmPlus the elements will toast any bread completely up to that size, not leaving the edges raw.Fat tea cakes also fit wellLooks good. Easy to clean.£ 10 cheaper than in Curry’s too!

Looks perfect and matches the kitchen. Like the independent controls. On a down side a toaster of this price should have the push up and check feature and its terrible with frozen crumpets. Need two to three sessions to get a colour and that's on full wack. On a good point I can't see my smoke alarms going of again 😂😂**update** 4 months on & the internal metal bread holder has broken and needs bending back every other day as won't pop up or go down, this is due to the very poor push down butrons. Still won't produce a perfect toasted anything without constant adjustment. Manufacturer was useless and told me to butter both sides of the bread ??? Amazon refunded and I still have the toaster till it breaks as a replacement if the same has gone up in price. Certainly won't be buying this particular one again. Shame as we own other really good BEKO equipment

This review is for the Beko TAM8402G Cosmopolis 4 Slot Toaster. I have been searching for a decent 4 slot toaster for a while as our last one was rubbish. I read many of the reviews here, many put me off. However the specifications were exactly what I was looking for, so I decided to purchase anyway. So far I have not found anything I don’t like about this toaster.It has deep slots so it will toast a full tall slice like Hovis etc.It has independent control for left and right so you can use either side.It seems to be well made.Some reviews say it is slow to toast. It’s no better or worse in this respect than any other toaster I have owned.It toasts evenly.Very pleased with my purchase.

I spent ages looking for the right toaster after my trustee Russell Hobbs one burnt everything to a crisp, but I’d had it a long time. I received this & loved the look of it. I did a quick check that it worked & threw the box out. The next morning I put the toast in & set it on 4 it popped up as white as it had gone in just warm & dry- no worries I thought. I’ll just pop it down again & set it higher tomorrow morning. It popped up only slightly tanned & was as dry as a crouton. So my toast wasn’t great but I thought tomorrow I’m armed with the knowledge that it needs to be on a higher setting. Sadly it never really worked properly, it just made the bread dry and crispy, no tan, just a slightly toasty look but anemic. I tried the other side, my partner doesn’t like overly browned toast so he said he would try. He too couldn’t believe just how rubbish the toaster was. If you like stale warm bread then this is the toaster for you. I’ve now replaced it with another make & returned this one.

Toaster is lovely looking , the only negative for me is even when toaster is at full temp it only lightly toasts the bread, have to put bread down twice .

This is a great product from BEKO as always. It is average size and have a good performance. It works just perfect for us as we like our toasts different. Definitely good value for money if you need one.
