Pretty well thought out, couple shortcomings
I was looking for some weights to keep my new gazebo from blowing away. Amazon has a lot of options to choose from but this set had some features that set it apart. I've set it up and overall in pretty happy with it, but there's a few things they can work on to make them even better.First off, the bag inside a bag idea is pretty good. They do keep their shape when filling with sand and even when 95% full you can still manage to get them in the outer bag with a little bit of wiggling. As far as weight you can probably squeeze about 15 lbs of sand into one bag (there's two bags per outer sack with 4x outer sacks for 8 bags total) but you're better off putting in 10-12, or 85% capacity. In total this will give you anywhere from 80 to 120 lbs of weight. I spread mine from two 50lb sacks of sand. Yes, a two liter bottle will fit inside the inner liners and even easier in the outer sack and still roll and close. No point in putting the bottle in the liner bag though.I didn't have any problems with the inner bags. They aren't overly strong but they aren't weak either and short of abuse they should hold up fine, especially if you're just going to leave it in the sack.Only qualms I have are the short length of the wrap straps and questionable quality of the the down straps. My gazebo posts are 3" squares and while I can just get the top strap around at the longest length there's no way the bottom strap will get around given the way the sand forms. A few more inches would have been appreciated. As it is I looked the bottom strap under one side and back up to cinch it. It seems to work. Also, the tie down straps are a nice idea but the straps themselves feel kinda flimsy and I'm not sure how it'll hold up over long term exposure. Replacement straps can be ordered though so whatever. We'll see how they hold up. I plan to leave these out year long. No snow or overbearing heat where I live so they should last awhile. For the price I can replace these every year or so as needed. I doubt the outer bags themselves will have any problems, they seem pretty well built, it's just the straps and buckles that I imagine will fail over time.

Perfect for our gazebo!
These are perfect for my patio gazebo! I didn’t want to drill into my pavers so we decided to go with weights. I was afraid they were going to look bulky and hideous, but they blend in quite well, especially when I have the curtains pulled back, which is almost all the time. The inner lining bag was super easy to fill and the pull string made it easy to close (I used damp sand which made it easy to scoop). 30-ish lbs of sand per corner, totaling 120lbs holding down our gazebo. I’ll update when we get strong winds to see how well it holds down. Our gazebo poles are wide, but we had just enough strap to fit it on tight. Overall, I am very pleased.3/27/2021: UPDATE. We just had a pretty severe storm with 50 mph wind gusts and our gazebo is still standing thanks to these BA weights!!!!

Excellent. Heavy duty. Gets the job done.
These bags are work horses. Sturdy material. They hold a lot of stand. I really like the removable inner sleeves for the sand. They wrap around the leg of the canopy, and then using the metal loop you attach the separate straps to the top of the canopy (in a spot where it won't damage the frame). I had my canopy up for 5 straight days of very windy and rainy weather in south Florida. We're talking 20+ MPH winds with 30+ gusts. The canopy was never in danger of flying away, these bags kept this sucker on the ground. The only issue is it didn't keep the canopy from sliding. Granted, this was in my backyard where three of the four legs were on relatively smooth concrete (only 1 leg was in grass). On dirt or maybe even asphalt I would suspect there would be less sliding. But in these tough winds on a somewhat smooth service, while it kept the canopy from launching it could not keep it from sliding. In the end my canopy eventually gave out on a particularly bad night. The frame and cover just could not handle the heavy wind and rain. But you know what did? These bags.I definitely recommend these.

very effective
freaking love these i didnt want to bolt down my gazebo because i like to rearrange things often so these work. they are big and bulky but i have curtains that cover them up so no biggie. i filled with sabd i already had in the yard it was easy. tip : put the insert bag in the canvas bag and fold down the tops like socks and then fill with sand its easier that way and less fussy.

Well Built For Its Purpose
I bought these to hold down a pullup bar using paver rocks as my filler. The inner bags worked really well and saved me a lot of time over other sandbags I have used for a similar project that didn't have a liner and had to use Ziploc bags as my liner. The material of the main bags seem pretty sturdy and should last a while. Overall, the bags are great to use and if you're looking for a premium canopy weight, this will probably fill that requirement. My only complaint is that the main opening for the sandbag liner is a little narrow so you'll want to avoid filling the liner completely before putting it in the main sandbag. I suggest you fill the liner with enough weight to allow you to drop the liner in the main compartment and then continue to fill it from there. Anyway, while these are slightly more expensive compared to alternatives, you will definitely see the difference in quality and likely longevity. I'm a spend a little more and buy it only once kind of person so that last part is really important to me.

Very well thought-out product
I found it very difficult to determine which canopy weight bags to order. Happily, I got lucky with these. They come with drawstring-closure liner bags which fit into the heavyweight outer bags. I used a garden trowel and my wife's canning funnel (don't tell!!) to scoop the masonry sand into the sleeves which I inserted into the outer bag ahead of time. There were no instructions, but I thought it would be difficult to try to slip a full liner bag into the outer one. They weigh just over 30# per leg. A typical laundry/kitchen bucket of sand filled one bag (2 sleeves) exactly. The handle works well to carry them, and they have loops for stakes and a hanging cord. Nicely done, and worth the little extra $ IMHO.
