I am 6' 3'' and weigh 246 lbs probably 275 fully outfitted. I have ankle pain and a bad back so shoes are very important to me. I have been a cop for 34 years and have worn a wide variety of boots, including all varieties of Rockys, Danners. bicycle shoes, etc. By FAR these are the best work boots I have ever worn, hands down and I prefer to wear them off duty as well. I typically walk several miles a day and I always wear these boots. I cant explain to you how they work, but its a sturdy, soft, supportive, luxurious feeling. They are like pillowed moccasins or something with a very sturdy sole. My wife gets upset when I want to wear them out on dates. I have shown several people these boots and they also bought them. I ride a BMW GSA 1200 and they are what I wear doing that as well.I just ordered another pair because I want a nice pair for work.Seriously, just buy a pair and try them on and walk around the house for a minute. You will not believe it.They run true to size. The upper is very snug and supportive and I love the inner sock and the side zipper.I'd pay more than they ask and actually just threw away my Red Wings because of these shoes.

I have been a Corrections Officer for 10 years and I go through a LOT of boots. These are By FAR THE VERY BEST BOOT I HAVE EVER OWNED!!! For me, they fit almost like a sock. SNUG WHERE YOU WANT THEM, LOOSE WHERE YOU WANT THEM!!! I have stopped looking for boots and will continue to buy these until I retire!! THANK YOU BELLEVILLE BOOTS!!!!

These are good boots, they break in very fast, comfortable, but only last about 1 year for me, but I walk many miles every day.

It was enough space in the boots and has a nice wrap around the ankles and shin area front to back. Also goes well with my jeans for work. Just awaiting for NY winter to put them to the test.

What an awesome shoe! Very comfortable right out of the box. I normally wear a 10.5. The 10.5 was a 1/2 size to big. I ordered a 10 and the 10 fit perfectly. I read every review before purchasing. Lots mention that the insert is uncomfortable. I find the insert that comes with the boot very comfortable. Wearing the boot right out of the box for 10 / 12 hrs my feet have no pain or blisters. The boot the very light weight which I just love.I have found traction to be very good even on top of tile roofs. I have sprayed the boot with garden while wearing and also have worn the boot in the rain just loving that my feet stay dry. The look of the boot is excellent and very well made. Great purchase!!!.* Ordered 1/2 size smaller to fit my foot perfectly!UPDATE ~ Ive been wearing the boot now for about a month. I love this boot but I'm having issues. The velcro strap that holds the zipper up top separated / pulled off. Im gluing back as im writing this. Another issue is the toe rake protector in front of one my boots is pulling apart.Still love the boot but needs to be toughened up some as Im not using in the most rugged conditions.

Everything about this boot is fantastic for flat footed officers.Comfortable. Gives support in all the right locations. Looks great, good traction in the mud and snow.All of that is completely negated by the fact the zipper is difficult to zip and very vulnerable to breaking. I had to purchase new boots after only a few months (literally right outside the return window) and the price of these boots is considerably higher than others but I needed that support for flat feet. My second pair just failed. I'm returning them and I will have to look elsewhere for a better quality boot.Would absolutely be a highly recommended 5 star boot if the zipper was better quality.

These are the best boots I've had for law enforcement purposes. I used to purchase strictly Bates boots however after about a year or slightly longer after their purchase, they would wear completely out. Zippers would brake. Soles would start coming undone. Shoelaces eyes would break off. etc. Bates had an excellent warranty but I got tired of having to get a new pair of boots every year. Now...to be fair, I just bought these but the differences are so good that I highly doubt that these boots will be wearing out as fast.The soles are thicker and seem to be made of much better rubber. The eyelets are better made. I can unzip the boots and slide my foot out with exceptional ease. On my Bates boots, I would have really push on the heal to get my foot out which would eventually result in the rubber heal separating from the leather heal of the boot. I also can keep the boot laces tied and slide my foot in. Again on my Bates, I would have to untie the laces then put my foot in. Much quicker to put these on. The boots are also much more comfortable and feel way more cushioned on the bottoms of my feet. These just feel different and better. I've put them to the test already by wearing them for some other tough chores outside of my job as a police officer and they have exceeded my old boots and expectations.I never heard of this brand before but after doing extensive research on tactical boots and what to buy, I gambled on these and so far I am very pleased.

Using these for police academy. They work well. I can do anything in them and they don't hurt my feet.
