Dynasty Hardware Push Bar Panic Exit Device for Emergency Exit Doors Painted Aluminum, with Exterior Lever Handle

The product is as described by the product description (and by other reviewers). Seems very well made and heavy duty, but as other reviewers mentioned the directions are dreadful, and they refer to a template that is nonexistent, but install was fairly easy. I had to do quite a bit of tinkering to move the old key cylinder into the new handle, but even that wasn't too hard. I suggest watching a YouTube video or two showing professionals installing push bars, as their tips + common sense are infinitely more helpful than the enclosed directions. Product serves the purpose we needed it to, appears as if it will last, and came on time from Home Hardware Central. Updated/Simplified Directions for those that need them: 1. Remove old lock set if needed 2. Remove head and end covers from push bar 3. Mount outside door handle 4. Hold push bar on inside of door, use a level to make sure it's straight, and mark the holes 5. Leave bar to the side and drill holes 6. Attach bracket to hold butt end of push bar 7. Insert bar into bracket and put in rest of the screws 8. Mount roller latch to frame 9. Reattach head and end covers

Caution: This item is imported and the instruction translation needs help. We found that the template for cutting the large hole was not correct and there were conflicting measurements on the instruction pages. Also, the provided machine screws were labeled 1/4-20, when they are actually 10-32. Read all the instruction pages FIRST and then do your own measuring. We were lucky in that even though the template was inaccurate, we were able to make the installation work. The hardware seems to be reasonably good. The package does not include the cover plates for any existing strike plate, nor the edge of the door, which were included in another panic hardware set we purchased. Because this is basically a one-shot installation, USE CAUTION when following the provided instructions, and compare all pages and dimensions to what you have.

A lot of these reviews said it was tricky to install. I didn’t even have to read the instructions. It was simple. Just looking at it, the hardware supplied and the parts you’re dealing with, and it all goes together easy peazy. The assembly was sturdier than some of y’all made it out to be. The bar was shorter than I anticipated. Probably only 28 inches. I didn’t measure it, though. I put it on a 3–0 door and it seems to me that it could’ve fit a 2–6 door.

Product installed easily and works well. Not as substantial as what it replaced so no idea of longevity. For the price seems to be a good deal.

Received it missing peace and to small

Package came with wrong size.

The panic hardware that was purchased was broken and does not work. The cylinderial handle part of the hardware will not work. Is there a way to rerturn this package and get it replaced. Please advise.
