Unbelievably excellent loppers!
Hands down, the best tool I've bought for myself in EONS!I'd been getting by with ancient, dull loppers - I don't even know from whence they came - and one day I said to myself, "just buy yourself a decent pair of loppers". These had the best reviews, and for good reason. Firstly, the blades are sharp. I'm not used to that. Also, a long slim blade which cuts a lot at once. They aren't too heavy, easy enough for me and I'm a 67 yr. old female. The best thing about them though (besides the fact that they chop thru a lot of stuff easily) is the ease of lengthening the handles. Whoever designed these did it soooo right. You just grip the handle ends, turn outward and it telescopes. Then, you turn turn inwards and it smoothly locks into place. Smooth, easy, NO frustration. It didn't even come with instructions (no need) because it's so flawlessly designed. My only problem is the urge to turn into Edward Scissorhands with these and over prune all my shrubbery. It makes pruning fun and satisfying again.

Nice Clippers
These are very sharp clippers. They work well and are comfortable to use. The extension is a nice feature also.

Very useful!
I ordered these when another name brand was out of stock. I couldn't wait as I had shrubs that really needed pruning. I'm glad I ordered these. They seem well-made. I can't speak to durability as I just received them.

Best shears and small brush cutters ever used.
The quality is immediately apparent, with a very sharp blade that cuts through bushes and small brush like butter. The power comes from a great, simple, and quality design that cuts no corners.Tabor’s loppers are also excellent, so I am extremely impressed thus far after using them for 20 hours intensively.Rarely am I effusive about a tool, but I appreciate quality when I see it in action.

Does the Job
This is the second Tabor tool I've purchased. They are really well made (the other is a long-handled lopper). These are very sharp and with the longer handles you really get some leverage to cut bushes and other vegatation.

IT LIVES UP TO THE DESCRIPTION PROVIDED BY THE MANUFACTURER
I AM DISABLED AND CANNOT USE IT BUT HAD OTHERS USE IT AND THEY REPORTED TO ME THAT IT WORKED VERY WELL, NO COMPLAINTS, EASE OF USE AND SHARP BLADES AND ENJOYED WORKING WITH IT. I CHECKED IT OVER ON RECEIPT AND WAS PLEASED WITH THE EASE OF EXTENDING THE HANDLES SO ONE CAN REACH SOME HEIGHTS WITHOUT THE USE OF A LADDER, A GREAT HELP WHEN USING IT.

ALMOST a fantastic product
The extendable handles work remarkably well and add much more power than you might think! And the locking mechanisms feel sturdy and durable so I think they will hold up to long-term use.The hand-knob that is used for tightening the hinge is easy enough to turn, but has some kind of stopping mechanism that prevents clamping the hinge as tightly as I would like to clamp it. A large nylon lock nut with extra-fine threading and a very strong split lock ring would be much better even though it would require a tool to tighten it.The wavy design of the blade is a huge plus - it helps to prevent thicker branches from sliding out of the blades when you close them. The big design flaw is that the blade metal isn't thick enough / hard enough to stand up to heavy use. It isn't so soft that branches will dent the cutting edge (which is a problem with some Fiskars products), but it IS weak enough that sturdier branches can bow the blade and squeeze between the cutting edges. I bent the blade on mine within five minutes, on a branch that I thought would be just fine to cut.
