This is a nice little shovel for digging holes for plants in loose soil and if the shovel was described this way it would get 5 stars. However this shovel is described as a trenching shovel and it is not up to the task. The blade bends very easily in places my cheaper shovel doesn’t blink. Be sure to consider what you will be using the shovel for before purchasing.On a side note, Tabor Tools sent me multiple emails asking me what I thought about the shovel, I politely described my experience twice and they never responded. I’m returning the shovel.

The shovel had a large defect. The handle is not attached solidly and turns when you use the shovel. Picture attached of handle at 90 degrees to the blade. Useless.

My husband stole my favorite skinny shovel from me to take to his jobsite. (He does that with my tools too). So I go to, where else, but Amazon and start a search. So many to choose from. I found this Tabor shovel and ordered it. When I got the package I was surprised by how lightweight it was and thought, great, this is going to be cheap - I ordered the wrong one. I was wrong - this product is made of very sturdy materials but lightweight to use. Very pleased with this shovel. I may very well order more Tabor products the next time my love of my life steals my yard tools.

THIS SHOVEL IS LIGHT IN WEIGHT YET, IT CAN DIG HOLES FOR PLANTING TREES EVEN IN SOIL THAT IS NOT FORGIVING. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO USES A SHOVEL IN THEIR GARDEN. AMAZINGLY LIGHT IN WEIGHT, IT HELPED ME TO REMOVE ROCKS THAT WERE CONSIDERABLE IN SIZE. I WOULD NOT EXPECT THIS FROM SUCH A LIGHT, EASY TO HANDLE SHOVEL. FANTASTIC!

Love this shovel for working in my garden and repairing auto sprinkler system. I watched a professional dig out a sprinkler line to replace pipe, and he used this type of shovel. The cost, $1,000. Is decided I could do this repair cheaper. The cost of the shovel and pipe repair materials are less than$100 and some hard work. This shovel works great! Also great for planting shrubs and small trees! Love it.
