Makes birds and me very happy
The media could not be loaded. I have had several solar fountains over the years and unfortunately they died after a season. So I did not expect too much when I was trying to replace last year's fountain. This one was the most expensive of the possible candidates on Amazon with glass panel and 3.5W. I wasn't sure how much more solar energy the glass panel would collect but 3.5w and 2000 mAh battery sounded good. Amazon's picture showed LED light softly casting light on fountain spray looked good but I was skeptical whether the battery reserve would be that long to make the water dance at night. I got this fountain in late February when sunshine was not as strong as summer. Before I put it in my bird bath, I charged the fountain with my desk lamp for all night long. The fountain worked as it should during the day and then at night, I saw the fountain work at night! Alas, that was just one time. For the next two months, the fountain only worked during the day. Unlike other fountains in the past, this one had moderate height so as not to throw water all over the deck. I liked that. Also unlike the other fountains, this one worked somewhat intermittently. For example, it would pump for several seconds, stop for several seconds, resume, etc. I thought it was by design but sometimes it pumps continuously so I am not sure. And if the cloud comes just a bit, the fountain would stop. So after two months, I was not sure whether I liked it too much. But some birds really like it and would take a shower or bath and they don't seem to mind getting their feather all wet. Then one night, as I was to retire, I saw small light coming from the deck and that was the fountain. It made me so happy and so peaceful. The fountain definitely stopped around 7 and I am not sure when it started again. Here at midnight, it was pumping water and the panel's six LED lights were lit. This is an example of how little things in life could make you happy.

Looks good we’ll see how long it lasts
The media could not be loaded. Easy to set up filters don’t have a secure attachment so I didn’t use. We’ll see how long it last good thing that it comes with different attachments for fountain height, and pattern.

Best Fountain Ever!
The media could not be loaded. Purchased July 2023. It's April 2025 and it still works great. It's a beautiful, soothing water fountain and the different accessories for different types of spray are great. I was also able to find my own straws to make it stay in the middle of the water bowl. I purchased a glass water bowl, bird fountain, and I use that bowl, it's a little too shallow, but manages to work. I just lay the fountain in the water and push it down so the sensor gets wet and it comes on. At night it will display beautiful disco lights for a really long time, but I don't use it that often at night. To be honest, I've never cleaned it! But I don't use it that often either, maybe twice a month. I take it out of the water when I'm not using it and lay it on the porch table to charge up the solar battery. I don't leave it in the water at night because then I can see the disco lights through my bedroom window all night. Also, the water dries up and is sometimes replenished with rainwater, and with all the pollen and dirt out here, I don't want it running if I am not using it.Every time I put it in the bowl of water it always works. I live in Florida and the porch table gets plenty of sunshine.A few nights ago, I heard some strange noises on the porch, last night it happened again, so I went out and it was this fountain. It came on, even though it was not in the water and therefore made a terrible sound because it was on a glass table. I finally pulled it apart and was able to get it to stop. I see that there's a lot of Pollen in it so that's probably what finally broke the sensor. It's almost 2 years old! Most solar batteries don't even last that long, let alone fountain motors. And both are still working. It's just the water sensor that is on the blink.I'm going to purchase another one.

It's okay, but not everything was included that should have been
It's okay. Some of the nozzles that I received don't work because there are some missing fittings that were not included. The sprays go up kind of high so most of the time if the wind blows the water drains all out of it.

Works with indirect sunrise light
The media could not be loaded. Awesome solar power on the product! Works with 1/2 (half) of the fountain water spraying height on rainy and cloudy days AND when the first light hits in the morning from the sunrise. The normal spray height does go above of the container I use for the DIY fountain, but I did end up finding one of the spray heads that works for me.Don’t need to shake the product violently to start the process as a previous product I tried; this product only need you to put it in the water and maybe need to get the air out from the bottom by pushing it submerged into the water.I’m not sure if the foundation sound attracted any bird as I haven’t seen any of them used or tried to drink water from it.since I put my fountain and bird feeder on the balcony, I don't actually see any bird in general near the setup. I do see a couple birds land on the balcony fence every so often and plenty of birds roaming back and forth between the trees and on the grass field with squirrels and chipmunks eating from the bird feeder.Either way, the DIY fountain turned out pretty neat and soothing to just look at. (Can’t really hear it since I have the balcony door closed most of the time with the screen door broken at the moment.
