Great service, as per usual with amazon!
Exactly what I ordered, on time… replacing a mistake I’d make earlier (ordered the wrong club the first time) Thnx!

Useful tool, takes some getting used to
Well-made and good grip. The training videos accessed via QR code are helpful and easy to follow. It does take some time to get used to how it feels and to be able to hit the ball consistently, but that’s the point of the Lag Shot. After getting used to how the club swings I noticed an improvement in my wedge shots with my regular clubs. Looking to add the other Lag Shot clubs to my practice sessions.

Great Trainer - Smart Training Concept
One of the hardest things about golf is learning how to swing properly. It's something that many golfers (including myself) have struggled with at one point or another as they’ve been playing. As I get older, I’ve come to realize that your swing is something that constantly gets tweaked and/or evolves throughout your lifetime. The Lag Shot Wedge - Golf Swing Trainer is a fantastic tool that will help you tweak your swing....the right way! I got the wedge version of this trainer, and the way that it teaches you to swing, helps me understand how to extend and snap my wrist and turn my upper body during my swing. It’s hard to explain if you've never swung one of these clubs but know that the more you swing with it, the easier and more natural it feels to load the club with power. Also, it’s safe to practice with real balls while swinging with this club so you get instant feedback on every swing. The club is well built, and it does what it is supposed to do. It’s not a super stiff shaft like regular golf clubs, the shaft on the Lag Shot club has a lot more flexibility, but it’s on purpose to help you understand how to swing the club to maximize your clubhead speed at the right point of impact. I’m still getting used to it, but already in a few days, I can see my swing changing and mimicking what I’ve been learning while practicing and swinging with the training club on the range. One thing that I loved about this training aid is that on the package came a QR code to access training videos on your tablet or computer. You can also find the code on the product page on amazon.com. Scan the QR Code and you’ll be able to watch multiple videos so that you can maximize the use of this training aid. The videos were extensive and did a fantastic job teaching you how to use the Lag Shot Wedge to improve your swing. If you’d like a practical training aid that will help your golf game, don’t hesitate to go with this club. It does a fantastic job. I hope to get my hands on the 7 Iron and Driver Lag Shot Training clubs as well to help me improve my game in those areas as well.

Did not work for me, at all.
I was surprised how ineffective this was for me based on all the good reviews it gets from pros. A widely circulated golf magazine's glowing review put me over the edge to order this but I find it to be impossible to use. I am 6'3, although I play with standard length club shafts, and I top the ball every single hit. I think the way the shaft bends makes the club incredibly short or something because I measured it next to my Callaway pitching wedge and it was only slightly shorter. The shaft on this is made of a blue foam and it's designed so that you don't 'lag' in your swing. For example, if you have a hitch or an area in your swing where you don't swing through at the same speed, the club will bend. The idea is that this forces you to swing smoothly and more fluidly and your body will adjust to that rhythm in order to keep the shaft from bending. I practiced hitting balls with this for 30 minutes to 1 hour each night for a week and it never got easier to hit.I wondered if my height causes the shaft to bend because of the angle the club head travels ... or if my swing is really that flawed. I brought this to my club's pro, who helps me once a week, and he basically called it garbage and told me to stop using it. He said that it might help some people with very good mechanics but unless you had the perfect swing, it would be almost impossible for the average golfer to allow this to make a major difference. He also agreed that my height might be what is making this bend enough to top the ball each hit.The face of the club looks like most other pitching wedges with a 54 degree angle. The bright blue foam shaft looks like a toy club. I am not sure why they used bright blue and not black or even white. It looks like a Nerf club. The grip is also kind of cheap for the high price of this.Overall, I always have high hopes for any golf training tool. This one is totally unhittable for me though, into a practice net or on the range. Years ago, there used to be a steel shafted version of this with a hinge that would collapse if the mechanics were off. I think this is a different version of that but for me it was utterly useless and I am going to give it away. I put in the effort too ... a week's worth of practice and just could barely manage to hit a ball. Maybe it will work better for you but it is one of the worst orders I've made for golf equipment this year.

Practice towards Perfection
The one thing in life you can never have enough of is improvement. It is something I strive for on a daily basis. Whenever I see a product that could help me improve something in my life, I jump at the opportunity to try it. Whether it could help me save time, increase production or just get better, it is worth the investment. Sure, you can get burned a lot trying everything, but when one hits, it can make all the difference. This is one of those golf trainers that I think is a hit. The most important thing that stands out is that you can actually use it to hit balls, not imaginary or VR ones, legit take it out and swing. I love the concept and how it almost forces you to correct your swing or brings to light the inefficiencies/inconsistencies in it.It has an iron head, but a rubber body that flexes/bends when you swing. It almost amplifies what you do badly and helps you get a better feel for how to correct it. Golf is a never ending game of correction, so this is something you can use to help improve your game.I can see how people can give up on it because it is not a traditional way to practice, but I think it performs very well and if you watch the videos for drills, it could help up your golf game.
