Pointed out things I was not aware of regarding the types of canners available. Good reading if you plan to can any time during the year.

Very sturdy and heavy. It took a while to get the seating of the lid correct, but once you figure out how to tighten the lid correctly, then it is easy. One down side .. The heat from cooking on our gas stove actually discolored/darkened our stove's burner grate - now the need to figure out how to clean it back to the original color.

When you are pressure canning, you must be very cautious. One wrong move and you could kill yourself or someone else around you. This booklet has been priceless for giving me the assurance of what I was doing was correct or not. Not taking chances.

I felt safe using THIS pot as I am just learning to can and I think I am going to Love it. So I wanted to start with the BEST. I borrowed a different brand of canner and did not feel safe.

They work great and clean up in the dishwasher. Long lasting too.

Not worth the money very small writing my other book was much larger and Easter to read
