Can this be set up to run X amount of time and turn off for X amount of time until removed from power?

I use this to hold the circuit closed after a command from the elk doorbell alert device. So the doorbell device has an open collector and just blips the signal open. I needed it to stay open long enough for another sensor to see it. This timer holds the circuit open for a set time based on the little wheel. Then it goes back to normal. It is basically a relay with a delay. So if you ran power through it the device would hold on for so long or hold off for so long based on the trigger. It does not just cycle by itself.

Can this be set to turn off a 12 volt burglar alarm siren after 2 minutes and then re-arm the system? Im using a motion sensor for a trigger.

the answer is :yes, you may need more equipment than a siren a motion sensor and elk-960, depends how you want the system to operate, I give you a hint you need a DC power supply (transformer), the voltage can be from 12v to 24v make sure the siren accepts this voltage, you need a switch to turn off the system if you are home, this switch is to disconnect the contacts of the sensor not the power to the sensor, the sensor has four (or more) wires two of them to feed the sensor these should be always on, I could give you more information if I had more details of your project
