I gave this minivan 4-stars only because of my own mistake. It seals great and you can hear the air coming out. Matter of fact it’s difficult to close unless you hold the button so the air can pass through. It works great for what it’s supposed to doI bought this as a cheaper option to store eyelash extension glue. However from the pics you can see that it is just slightly too small to fit the height of average glue bottles. The width seems perfect to hold three but the 1.4 oz container will be a tad too short. Go up a size and it should be perfect!!!

This product does not use a vacuum, instead it uses a pretty ingenius sealing method that uses "suction" to keep the large lid on securely. I only have one beef with this item and that is the seal. The seal is not perfect, if you slowly pull on the lid without much force, eventually air will leak through the valve and allow the lid to eventually come off. It does not affect the performance of the lid being secured but this container is technically not airtight. I got around the leaks by placing a very thin layer of vaseline around the mouth and the rubber "vacuum" valve. Doing this truly made it airtight as I was not able to pull the lid off. Overall, i'm impressed with the number of uses this product has and the precision with its construction.

I bought this so I could seal and store my herbs. I thought it would be 100% smell-proof, but that's not the case.You cannot smell the contents at all, UNLESS you hold up the container to your nose and sniff directly from the 'Press' button, which is the seal.I would give this a 5-star rating because nobody can smell the contents whether the container is right on the table next to another person or inside a drawer. But if a K-9 dog were to come in the room, they would be able to smell it. So, 1 star taken away for that, even though the odds of a K-9 coming into my room are pretty slim.It is only good for just making sure the room doesn't smell of the content.

So I have a much larger version of this canister that I LOVE!! You can’t see or smell anything through it and you open it the freshest herbs stay just as perfect as when you put them in! Now this little small thing holds its own buuuuuuut the suction gets messed up and doesn’t close all the way? I’m not sure maybe mine is defected but all and all it’s a good purchase

When I store my medical marijuana in this minivac I can’t smell the herb that is held within the minivac. However, as soon as I open it that beautiful fragrance takes over my room and the hallway.

My tightvac lasted me exactly two years of daily use. Finally, the plastic lid cracked as I was trying to close it and that ruined the airtight seal. For the price, I wasn't too disappointed and will be repurchasing. It does a pretty decent job of preserving my "dry goods" and keeps the odor down. All in all, it's a good product but could perhaps be more durable.

This thing is great I have one and ordered this one. Just keep the sides clean and give it a twist when twisting it on at the same time as pressing the air release button line it up and it will last you a long time if you take care of it made of plastic not flimsy sturdy plastic. For 10 bucks it’s a nice buy.

I like this product and have been using several sizes of it. The suction is good and the goodies stay fresh. The only downside is that the cap is too thin and crack after a while. It has already happened to most of mine and it becomes unusable. I hope they fix this.

Lets some smell out if you're storing something more pungent, but it's still very nice and easy to use. fits about 7g

Ordered 2 received one that was making noise when the box was moved, upon opening it is simply missing the spring on the valve, due to the low value of this items it is not worth my time returning.Regarding quality they are usually good container, they do not all have the amount of vacum seal between them (you can pull on the cover to see how much they are sealed, some are prety good other are weak and easy to openThe plastic where it contact the cover get also scratched, not sure if it will affect the tightness, the cover also has a large area where the valve is, this make about a 1/2 inch empty space minimum with air insideOver all it is an ok system

Very small but it works. The lid is not always tight you can pull it off not a great seal.
