Bought as a gift for my Algerian husband who only discovered his love of cooking after moving to the U.K. He is very impressed with it.

Some authentic Algerian recipes but no photos. Also references appendix in recipes which doesn’t exist. My Algerian partner was disappointed that so few recipes come from his region. Disappointing.

I bought this book thinking it is going to be an authentic Algerian cooking book as the title says but unfortunately I found out that it is inaccurate. Most of the recipes are from neighbouring countries and turkey. The book has no pictures of the dishes. It is an unsatisfactory work.
