So easy to put on! My mini goldendoodle is 8 1/2 months old, and I've bought several different brands of these "harnesses." This is the best one so far. It's solidly built, lightweight, and looks really handsome. All you have to do is pop it over your dog's head, then reach around his tummy to latch it on one side. My previous favorite one had velcro on top, and the velcro kept getting stuck in all his fluffy hair. I still like that one, but this one is very pretty and easier to put on. I got the blue one like in the picture. It's a beautiful color! The latch is slightly bigger, more substantial, than the other brand I got. When he pulls on the leash, he slows down because the vest pulls at his chest, and doesn't hurt his neck. Also, there's only one big steel clip to hook onto the leash unlike the other brand I got, where you have to hook two clips while the dog is squirming around. The clip on this one is bigger and easier to grab with the leash hook. The "handle" feature is useful, too, when I need to lift him out of his car seat. Because of the handle, this harness serves as a kind of front dog lift for a small/medium dog. I got size Medium for my mini goldendoodle, who is about 30 pounds - there's plenty of room for adjustment, and I like to keep it a little loose. He has lots of really fluffy hair and fur, and I don't want it to get all matted. It works just fine when I keep it loose. One thing, though. Only use the harness for outdoor walks. If you leave one of these harnesses on your dog all day, there's a chance your dog will chew off the plastic latches. But it's easy to put on and take off.

Bought this harness for our golden retriever pup. When she was younger, she had boundless energy and it was hard to control her without choking her when the leash was attached to the collar. This harness solved that problem. It is easy to adjust as she has gotten larger. I especially like the strap handle that makes it easier to grab and hold her to keep her from jumping up on someone, or to hold her back from any danger. She still has a lot of energy!

Bought this harness for my puppy - he's about 28 lbs and growing fast so I didn't want to spend a lot, knowing I'll be upsizing in a few months.It's much easier to put on than the step-in harness I was using. And, I love that the straps don't go under the arm pits (his skin was getting irritated by his old harness).It's still new to us, so I can't comment on durability, but it seems very well made. Looks adorable and comfortable!

Although I should have ordered a small. This harness is great and my pup has tons of room to grow into. This harness seems to be much more comfortable than other as my dog hasn't chewed this one off. It's very easy to take on and off. I would high recommend. *** and the puppy is buckeled in safety in the pictures ****
