I would go 4 stars if it wasn't for the volume wheel and mic on/off switch being that same old style, with poor quality contacts inside making popping and crackling noises when adjusted. Let alone sometimes looses sound on one side if not carefully turned up on the volume wheel.Big and bulky too, the volume box on the cord to the headset is just in the right spot for me to catch the end of my desk every time I go to stand, yanking down on the headsets and just annoyingly gets in the way a lot!I was hoping as well, but should have known, that it would be just a straight USB capable connection since one is on it. So I wouldn't have to use the aux stereo outputs allowing me to have more speakers on the computer for music studio purposes and nope, it's only there to make the LED lights power up with no brightness control or control of any kind for that matter.The attached Mic is very low quality and tends to not put out well, making gaming communication, not the best, but it works in a pinch. Along with the sounds quality of the speakers in the headset, while rich and with good bass, is just like all the others using one large speaker to cover a broad range. Making it add "color" to the sound and dark color at that.The adapter supplied to go from a Three Ringed TRS connector (Tip Ring Sleeve) to the standard Two Ring is good but has some static issues and crackling if the cable moves at all. Meaning it's low quality but does the job well so long as its not moved while in use.Overall, I wouldn't rely on the mic, but for gaming sound wise, it's a decent headset. The red LEDs are nice but would be better if they were able to be controlled and adjusted. And could we please upgrade that volume and mic controller on the cord and make it smaller? LoLLastly, these headsets are huge lol! Big and bulky is the best way to describe them, let alone heavier than most others like it. But it's a "Solid" feel, so, not a bad trade off when ya can feel the quality of the mechanical part of the headsets. Best part about them other than the weight caused by it.Just my opinion on them, since I got a pair. Have had them now for a couple of weeks, and I have had many headsets over the years let alone 5 years Sound Producer Experience. Hope this helps in your purchase thought process lol. I won't edit with them, but they work for monitoring and gaming.

Lasted literally a day. Not due to quality but my terrorist dogs :s Fun. Used ONCE before they destroyed it.Pro: Surround sound. Comfortable. Blocks out external noise.Con: Unable to extend/lower very far (Maybe to only first joint of index. So if you've got a big head, skip it. Thankfully only my forehead is big so it fit well enough). Had to mute then unmute before microphone started working.

Took me a week to notice if did fit the xbox series x controllers lol but my buddy hear me well in the party chats. Well recommend

these are awesome for sound quality, volume control. however they have one connection for headphones and one for mic. as my laptop only has a combo mic/headset jack theese dont work for the mic on my laptop.plugged into my x box one x and evem at full volume couldnt hear anything from game.

I bought this headset because it matched my old one. As in exactly matched with a different name and cords. The main difference is the old one was USB connection and this one isn't. If you expect it to work as a USB only head, set, it won't. It powers via USB but the mic is a separate cord.The quality control was not good on the mic. It stuck then broke internally so it would not stay up. It still worked but was always in the down position. The quality of sound matched the old one. Everthing I saw matched my 4 year old headset.What I found was that I could use it as a parts headset and swap the ear pads and other parts of it. It also came with extra cords so I kept it as, at best, an emergency backup. Even as just parts, it was worth the price.

Perfect for gaming and kids of all ages, just make sure you get the 90 degree angled adapter to extend the life of the connector to the controller, helps with the bending of the controller wire

If you get the plug in perfect and don't move, then the sound is great. But, if the plug wiggles, or you stand up and walk around, then expect static. Very comfortable, and generally effective for gaming (if you're the type to sit reasonable still).

I bought this because my headset broke and i didnt know that there was two different plugs one for the light and one for the microphone and headphones. I would give it 5 star if it was only Usb since my last headphones were only USB. Now i have to wait an extra day for a aux to usb converter
