Great value device.
If you're not willing to spend over $200 for a GPS biking computer, then this device is for you. It functions just as good as the big brands. Distance is very accurate. I compared it to the Strava smartphone app (which is only as accurate as your phone's GPS radio) and Google maps. To do this, I took it for a drive on my way to and from work a few times. On the bike, I did a several rides in the neighborhood where I repeated a 3 mile loop and used the lap counter. I also did some laps on a nearby trail where the true distance is known. You do not need to download any software or app for your phone to use this device with Strava; you simply connect the device to the PC and upload the file(s). A few notes:1. The backlight will stay on if you use the device after sunset. There is NO way to turn it off. I confirmed with the manufacturer.2. If you power the device off, it will save your data. For some reason, my device will no longer stop recording if I hold down the button for 2 seconds as illustrated in the instructions.3. The lap counter starts at '1'. It would be nice if it started at '0' because one may wish to ride to a certain point on the road or trail, then start your laps.UPDATE 07/29/2019After using this device I have noted a few other issues:1. DST does not seem to be automatic as the manufacturer claims. I had to change the time zone on mine to get the correct time after DST went into effect in the USA in March.2. If you move SLOWLY, it appear not to record well, or at all. Twice I had a ride where I had to push up a hill for a long period of time. The device did not record the distance or elevation correctly. I confirmed this by taking the device hiking, where it did not record large portions of my hike because I was moving slow (<2 MPH).Overall, I'm still happy with the device based on cost alone. Hopefully the manufacturer can address some of the above issues with a firmware update.UPDATE 09/04/2019I noticed an issue with the recorded elevation on this device. It seems to be off, WAY off sometimes. A few rides it recorded approximately HALF of the total elevation recorded by other devices carried by friends or my phone. On 10 laps around the neighborhood, on the exact same route, the elevation drops every lap. This may be corrected, on Strava at least, by using the 'Correct Elevation' function, but it shows this device may not accurately account for changes in elevation. Changed to three stars because of this.UPDATE 03/01/2020The accuracy of this device has shown to be off on trails with tight turns. While there is some % of error with all GPS devices, it may be a lower cost GPS receiver or whatever used by the device, but it is consistently recording less mileage on tight trail systems. On the road, however, it seems fine.

The perfect bike gps for strava users who dont have garmin edge
If you cant afford exorbitant price of garmin edge but your smartphone cant keep up its accuracy and battery for longer rides, IGPsport is a blessing. I knew nothing about the brand but based on reviews across youtube and amazon i went ahead with purchase. The price was too good and i had low expectations. The gps exceeded all expectations so far.The gps tracking is super accurate along with other data such as speed. Does not require anything but just mount it on your bike and ride!I will definitely look into buying from igsport again in future and recommended it to my cycling friends.Few feedbacks to igsport:- smartphone app: app functions nice and syncs with strava but the ux needs to be polished..looks like made in a hurry.- gps unit: label the menu so i dont have to remember what e1-e4 menu options mean.

IGPSPORT Seems Like a SPYWARE Delivery System
I was THRILLED to get my IGPSPORT from Amazon, seeing the promises of exporting my rides to Strava. Well, Strava doesn't directly support the IGPSPORT, so you have to use the IGPSPORT app to download your ride data for use in Strava. Just read the recent reviews and see what IGPSPORT is doing. You cannot open the app without the most extensive privacy-grab in the permission grant. Eager to use it anyway, I was satisfied when the app page promised that it would protect my privacy. Then I loaded a ride but went to modify my profile. Presto! 100% of my personal photos -- 100s of them -- were sitting within the app; they had mined EVERYTHING. What a WASTE of money. I uninstalled the app (better known as spyware, seemingly) and now I have a USELESS gps computer on my bike; may as well have spent $15 and got a cheap bike computer, because if you can't upload your ride data, that's all this thing is. Ask yourself, why would a GPS mapping system need access to ALL MY CALLS, and all my contacts, and all my photos? Why do they want permission to use MY phone to record video and take photos? Buyer BEWARE.UPDATE: I increased my rating from 1 to 3 stars because I found a way to directly connect the device to my computer, download the individual workout files, and then upload them into Strava without using the igpsport intrusive app. The device itself is quite good. My complaint is with the company's invasive app. Hopefully Strava will provide a means to directly interface with the device.

DO NOT attempt to upgrade the firmware from their WEB Site.
The device looks like it could have been a good purchase. I put about 20 miles on it and then decided to follow the Chinese Web Site instructions to update the device firmware. The unit locked up and refused to update the displays afterwards, but the speed function worked, and it still locked onto the GPS sat signals. Speed was the ONLY thing that worked after the firmware update. I have contacted the manufacturer and I am waiting to see if these people will send me a new unit.No new unit. To continue with this review, I have to revise my original input. After spending some time on their web site I located a drop down menu with earlier versions of firmware. After reloading the original firmware version and completing a factory reset on the device, it is now working as it originally did when I received it. So, I am happy with it now. In general, the device is the right size and has enough functions for my riding style. It does receive GPS and does give the data it is advertised to give. I give it a thumbs up for style and functionality. Just don't try to update the firmware.
