I ordered this based on people's reviews. Started to use on my stairs and it tended to rip certain areas than just remove the top layer that was pulled up. Not used on clothing yet

Much too harsh, to use on clothing. Very good, for getting hairs off carpets. Easy to clean. Under running water.
