Awesome case!
Kk, so, this case. Wow. I've had it for about 3 years or so now. I've dropped my phone & cracked the screen, yes, because I didn't have a screen protector on, but the back of my phone is all glass, I'm clumsy, & the back hasn't cracked once.

It's a pretty nice case.
I bought this for my Samsung Galaxy 8, which I've had for years. Previously it was in another case that had been dropped several times until finally it started to come apart and my cell phone suffered as a result (crack on the screen). I can't speak for the durability because I already have a "damaged" phone, but it would look like if I dropped it the phone wouldn't come out of the case, which is what happened with my other. The case itself is ONE piece. The teal/pink do not separate. You snap your phone in and it stays put. Other reviewers mentioned that the buttons are a little hard to press, and that's true. However, you adjust pretty quickly to that and I imagine it will soften up over time--- it's not a deal breaker. It feels great as it's a slimmer case compared to other Otterbox cases I've seen. Currently I do not have a PopSocket on it so I'm not sure if that will stick to the case or not, but will give it a shot once I find a new one I like to match the case. Pretty solid buy considering I had a $10 Amazon credit and spent a little over $2 for this.

Does what it needs to do
Its tough. Fits well. The color is great. Buttons are functional. Its a legit phone cover. Not flimsy. honestly I didn't know otterbox made slimmer less bulky covers. I've only seen or known about the bulky toolbox looking ones. Their on my radar now for future purchases.

Simple and slim yet firm and protecting, but buttons are hard to press.
Awesome. The last otterbox case(s) I had were for an iPad 3 when it first came out, with all the bells and whistles like the handle and hard plastic cover etc etc, and an iphone 5s when it first came out. This case suits the S8 perfectly.Face down, which I never set my phone face down, the case keeps the edges clear and there is plenty of space between the surface and the glass. It protects the camera area well too. Plenty of space there. Easy access to the charging port and headphone jack, and does not obstruct the speaker at all. The case does not interfere with the touch screen at all.The buttons are a bit tough to press. However, I will still give it 4 stars because it is well designed and tougher than most slim cases. It is also all one piece. Sometimes trying to press the button to turn it on or the volume buttons required two hands, but honestly, the s8 is kind of long anyways and even with the Spigen soft case I have now, I still find myself doing that. The best thing I can recommend is setting up a fingerprint lock.Overall I knew this would be a great product and was my only choice in cases. Maybe some people want flashy stuff and useless features or cheaply made cases with easy to press buttons and design flaws. Personally, I wanted simple, effective, and sturdy. I knew otterbox would deliver.I highly recommend this case for your s8. My reason for the Symmetry series was because it does not have a screen protector and manages to have a slim design, yet sturdy enough to protect the phone. If you want something because you are prone to dropping expensive things, I recommend getting the defender series for it's overall protection. Do not expect the s8 to withstand any drops either way, use common sense. The thing is made from glass on both sides. Accidents happen, but that said, I have NEVER dropped a phone. If you want something a bit softer and less hard plastic, I recommend the new case I have now, the Spigen Liquid Crystal for the s8. However, do not expect to protect your phone from anything with it other than very basic usage. The only reason I switched is because of the hard backing on the otterbox, which caused it to slide around in my truck no matter where I stored it (not many options). But the button presses were not that crazy and would never get accidentally hit in your pocket on the otterbox, which is why I bought it initially.

Great Case for Samsung Galaxy S8
Great case that is slim and easy to put on phone. Each time that I have dropped my phone it still seems to be fine.

Good protection not too bulky
Really like this case. It offers actual protection but it's not too bulky. I've had quite a few compliments on it. Had it six months and it's starting to wear on the rubbery inner part but given it's constant use in and out of pockets and bags it's stood up well. Phone still in tact alhough it's not had any major tests. I sometimes feel it slightly restricts the view of my edge style phone but not sure you can really avoid that if you want to protect it.

Good first impressions! Nice case.
Fyi, this case hasn't been tested in anger yet (& hopefully never will) but the phone fits nice & securely, & it appears to be a solid build.I love the colour, & the case slips easily into pockets without dragging on the material.

Absolutely useless
I bought this case on September 25th. On October 8th I dropped my phone while sliding it out of my pocket. The case offers no protection whatsoever and I have 3 large breaks in my screen, plus 3 cracks running across the screen. This case also offers NO grip whatsoever. It stays on the phone well, but not my hand. This case is absolute garbage and a complete waste of money. Very disappointing for an OtterBox.After this incident I purchased an OtterBox Defender, which is supposed to have a built in screen protector and offer more protection. It does not. The screen is raised higher than the case so, like this case, it will offer NO protection. OtterBox has really stepped down their game.
