Speick Men Pre Shave Lotion

I’ve been doing the majority of my shaving (both face and entire scalp-I’m a baldy) using electric shavers for years now, with the odd wet shave thrown in. There are some exceptional electric shavers around now, so I find myself having a wet shave with less and less frequency.I do often get mild irritation though from my electric shaver. It’s not really bad or terribly uncomfortable, but I do get it. So I thought after all these years that I would try a pre-electric lotion. I did a bit of research and decided to try this lotion.I used it on my face and all over my head, it doesn’t take a lot. When I started shaving, the difference was immediate and night and day obvious. The smoothness and comfort was exceptional. I was really surprised because I wasn’t expecting a product to make such a huge difference. The closeness of the shave with fewer passes of the shaver was very noticeable too. And my skin was left smooth, soft, and comfortable afterwards, not at all dried out, and no irritation whatsoever. The only slight downside, and it is only my opinion, is that I’m not overly taken with the scent. It’s not terrrible, and it’s not strong, it doesn’t last for long after the shave, but I don’t really like it but can live with it.Otherwise, I really recommend this product. It really is a game changer.

A quite pleasant fragranced pre-shave for users of electric shavers. The fragrance is strong, without being overpowering, clean-smelling, rather than complex. The spirit base has an astringent effect, readying the beard for an effective electric shave.The spirit content does appear to secure a closer and more satisfying daily shave. I’m not convinced you’d use this as an aftershave, though. It’s relatively expensive for a fairly conventional balm or lotion, but it seems to do the job

I have tried this preshave and found it works fine as in my razor seems to glide over my skin and does not drag

A lifelong fan of Boots’ pre-electric shave in the glass bottle, discontinued, I reluctantly switched to Superdrug, which isn’t nearly as good. It’s sticky in comparison and my shave quite inferior. This Speik, while much more expensive, is at least as good as my old favourite and I’m converted. Perhaps even better than Boots and smells nicer too.

seems ok on first use, pleased it is not too smelly and does not interfere with my aftershave smell (many others do)

Used others which didn't really work, thought I'd try this , a lot more expensive than others on the market and to be perfectly honest, buy the cheaper ones, works reasonably well but not worth the price.

My new Braun Series 9 electric razor is a bit of a beast and my beard tends to Lie low. This pleasantly (and subtly delicate) smelling lotion works. It’s far better and more economical than those I’ve used in the past. The hairs stand up and I get a good fast smooth shave without my otherwise tender skin complaining of being sore…there’s no razor burn. I’m set up for the day. It’s so good I’ve paired the Aftershave version to my day.
